The first-year students at Manipal University don’t get to choose their blocks. They are only given two choices namely B1/B2 and B7. B1 and B2 are the oldest blocks of the university and usually accommodate freshers. B7 on the other hand is the newest boys' block.

If you ever get the chance to choose one between the two, I would suggest choosing B7. This block has been constructed recently and has brand-new infrastructure and facilities. Moreover, this block is closest to the mess, the gym. It also has amazing sports facilities.

So go for B7 unless you want to be under the guidance of your seniors. In that case, you can go for B1 or B2.

Manipal University is a very famous and reputed university. One of my friends studied there and everything is good

from food, hostels, placements, and faculty.

The faculty of this university is great. Most of the professors are very knowledgeable and experienced and helpful towards the students.
The hostel is also very good as the rooms are very spacious and the bathrooms are attached to the rooms. It also has a centralized AC too.
The mess food here is also very good and in comparison to other top universities.
There are also other options available for food like Pizza Hut which is available inside the campus.
The university also has various clubs like dance and music club, green club, and acting club for cultural activities.
There are other facilities available like wifi routers all over the campus and a gym is available too with all the latest equipment.

The rooms provided by the college is good with study table , bed and chair and attached bathroom and room is provided with double , single and triple sharing and the food is provided four times in a day and the food taste is decent and there is option for north and south too , the campus is clean and give priority to hygiene of the students
