College is good overall but faculty needs improvement
Teaching wise is average but method of teaching is complicated in some subjects
Infrastructure is too good and amenities are also in various numbers

We have to walk around too much because of its vast area

I applied for SRM, NMIMS, BITS Pilani and Manipal University. I had gotten a good rank in SRM but due to its location I didn't want to go to a remote location so I took admission here. Eligibility for MUJ is rank wise. I got 22000 rank and got admission in it. Cutoff is also rank wise under 10000 scholarships 10% and goes on and on

Life at Manipal University Jaipur

The system must lean towards practical settings of the course more than theoretical.
I've got the Best batchmates there and the campus life is so happening.
All the faculties are well qualified for their respective subjects.

Admission:

Manipal University Jaipur is the nearest college to me and very convenient. Also, if I'm getting the quality education without spending extra money on hostel and other conveyance, then why would I choose the far ones. Additionally, in the beiginning, the campus attracted me, later on, the quality education left me stuck here, and then the wonderful, full of life environment is the speciality of this campus. I never got any rejections from any colleges because i've never applied for anyone. Admission process here is so simple. You must pass 10+2 with atleast 60% for Bachelor's degree, and 60% in your bachelor's for admission in PG courses. Also, Manipal organizes entrance exam to let the students avail the scholarships. Apart from this, there are several scholarship programs offered by the university with some Eligibility terms. The admission process is so easy here, if you have qualified all the eligibility requirements.

growing campus with good infrsstructure and relaxed academic environment as there is no such burden of studies.
vibrant campus life with different clubs like litmus, apperature etc, and there are many extracurricular activities.
best campus for chill life like many events take place throughout the year like oneros , and many club events and sports meet also there.

Dislikes

i think college should increase their library strength and quality and quantity of books in it. during exams it is difficult to find the books and seating there.
college should work on there placements also, placements ratio is also too low in my bsc batch no one get any placement. as we talk about btech many students remain unplaced.
as we talk about teaching some teachers are of good quality but many are not of good quality. location is also outside the city.

the campus life is very good and the faculty is also very good. They encourage a lot for attending college lectures Which is good good
A lot of social interaction are there between students
the placement infrastructure is also very good

Dislikes

there is 75 percentage attendance mandatory for students

Admission:

i choose this college because of its placement oppurtunities and it gets its name from a well known institution named MAnipal. They conduct an entrance exam which one has to clear to get admission into the college

I like the infrastructure if my college its good
Some of the teachers are quite supporting
Some people are also good not all tho mostly.

Dislikes

Some teachers are not supporting at all .
The lunch of mess is also not good 90% of the time
My old roommate wasnt good so i changed him.

Admission:

I applied if BML Munjal and Jaypee noida. I got cse in bml but i was offered ece in jaypee. I choose to persue cse in manipal as most of the company demand cse students over ece and manipal is a good name

Likes

Infrastructure is good and maintained, class rooms are clean and big , smart boards are used to conduct classes overall good classroom setting environment and big campus
Lots of clubs which students can join to enhance there knowledge
Not that strict if a college good college life and experience

Dislikes

Hostel charge is too high performance annum
Most of the faculty us not qualified enough
Grading system is very complex but not that hard to get good gpa

Admission:

Honestly MUJ is not a good to college for anyone, it was the last option as I didn't do good in jee and cuet so this was my last option The admission process is pretty simple they accept anyone even if you fail in class 12 board at this point, the college is overcrowded

The infrastructure of college is really good
The facilities provided in the hostels are top notch
The college authorities are chill and give somewhat freedom to the students

Dislikes

Long timetables the classes are very long
Not all the professors are that well qualified
The main problem is that it is a epicenter of drugs and alcohol

Admission:

Didn't apply for any other it's pretty easy to get into this college you just need marks in boards only in 3 subjects physics, maths, and a third subject in which you have gotten the highest marks i.e % of 3 subject is considered and it should be above 85%

to get admission at muj you can either give MET exam or on the basis of 12th result on the basis of these met results you can get scholarships like 1st topper of met and whose parental income is lesser than 8 lpa will get 100% fee wavier 2nd topper will get 80% fee wavier

infrastructure of muj is very modern and well maintained with well equipped labs,a well stocked library and modern campus
strong placement support this year 98% students were placed companies like microsoft amazon infosys wipro visit for placements,university collabrates with different industries to provide good internship opportunities
faculty here is mix of experienced proffesors and industries proffersionals also very helpful and if you are not able to understand any topic proper extra classes are scheduled

Dislikes

Muj enforces 75% attendance rule which some students including me find difficult to maintain especially for those involved in external projects and internships
transportation problems for local students as university is located a little bit away for main city it is difficult for some students

Admission:

compared to other colleges muj provides speciallized learning and more personalized faculty attention.i applied to jaypee college in noida but due to lack in my marks i was not able to get btech cse in jaypee noida admission process includes and online application followed my manipal entrance exam

College Experience As B.Tech CSE Student At MUJ

Things I like about MUJ includes the freedom we get here. Its all on you weather you wanna make yourself or break yourself. It does teach you to be in control you you dare to learn. I mean you eventually have to.
You can follow any passion you want to. There are many facilities here. And tons of clubs as per your liking. Getting permissions isnt that hard if you compare with other private institutes.
The exposure is good. The university and hostel architecture is aesthetic and beautiful. It builds your confidence. Teaches you how to face things and people. Also some teachers do are supportive here who genuinely care.

Dislikes

Like I said, the freedom. If used recklessly, you would just end up ruining your whole aim of college life.
The friends here wont necessarily be like your school friends. There are many who come here with pre-decided notion of wasting the college days. Don't let them deviate you.
Many of the teachers here are not upto the mark. You do need to study on your own. Placements are ok-ok while the fees is too high. Dont take any loan for coming here.

Basically, you need to pass the merit in the MET entrance test. You will be elegible to any branch depending on your MET rank. You can also apply directly through the college official website. I applied through both. Since I got CSE through direct ( they check your 12th/10th marks for branch allocation and its first come first serve), I joined through direct admission. I chose MUJ because VIT, Amity and SRM had a huge crowd. Also I liked the location of MUJ, Jaipur.

I am sure most people are going to answer this by saying a score of 350+ is likely considered good in the Manipal University Exam.

Well, I have a completely different opinion in this regard. This is because my sister had a score of 297 and yet was able to get into Electrical and Electronics Engineering, at Manipal University. What I mean is, scores certainly are a major factor affecting Your chances of admission, but not the only factor. An excellent profile or interview performance might help you get into your dream college. The fact that she got admission, not in a less demanded branch but EIE was a miracle indeed.
