Life at Manipal -More than just a college experience

Likes

Infrastructure of college is like top-notch
The food quality is very good as compared to other colleges
Placements and internship opportunities are good

Dislikes

High colleges fees as compared to other colleges
Limited category based reservation for underprivileged students
75 percent attendance rule is something that anyone won't like

Admission:

i choose this college becuse of high reputatuon of college with their vast infrastructure . this college has strong alumni network and focuses on the learning and provide exposure to industry level projects as compared to the other colleges , one can get admission with their 75% in pcm and with more than 95 percentile in jee exams

The environment in my college is too good
Good academic and faculty members are supportive
The faculty are knowledgeable and willing to clarify doubts

Dislikes

Need better placement opportunities limited campus croving
Some courses need more handles on training,industrial visits.
During peak hours campus get crowded and some paper work take time

I applied to Reva university Banglore but the fee is too cost Manipal university has stronger reputation across India and abroad No I didn't got rejected but I have submitted the form and after realising the fee I got disappointed and got admission back

Great learning because I liked the infrastructure in the college they have provided
I heard that the placement services are done in manipal University
Learning facilities are too good and I liked it

Dislikes

The way they teach is bit speed so I can't understand every point
The boys are rubbish and they don't respect girls
The washroom comes bad smell once upon a time

Admission:

Reva university banglore the fee is very high and I can't afford that much I went to that college and enquired the registration fee is too much so I decided tojoin manipal University Jaipur No rejection from any college I didn't applied also They give form to fill and ask for all documents such as marks card, transfer certificate,aadhar card etc all Over all experience so good

MUJ-everything you need to know about the life the glamour teh studues

Likes

Events happening all year around is probably the best thing about college we do everything studying and grinding and also partying hard
Seniors are very good and caring they will guide you well without ego
Professors are mostly vary kind and give attention to every student

Dislikes

Sports events are not very well organised
The class size is huge 80 students with two shifs running and only 4 hours of classes everyday
Administration can get better than what we have right now

I applied to a number of other colleges and I got admission in alot of them like amity lovely professional University and colleges of greater Noida and lucknow but I decided to come here due to my already strong network here I had cousin studying here some school seniors who graduated from here and even my school mates so I choose this places plus certain branches like cce here have very high packages

No academic pressure so people can focus on skills
Sports facilities like basketball court badminton court and a huge cricket ground
Huge and big library where you can study and issue books as per your choice

Dislikes

Lots of people in computer science engineering increases
You will not find good and skilled people here
75% attendance criteria is strictly followed here

Admission:

I have apllied for vit vellore but i choose muj because no academic pressure and connectivity of my home town is good from jaipur . Mainly this collleges has less students as compared to vit vellore . You can get admission in muj through a direct admission ( 75% criteria applied in direct admission) and throught manipal entrance test .

The campus is very well developed with greenery
The infrastructure of campus is great and well maintained
Supporting faculty plus so many events that you can keep yourself engaged and grow.

Dislikes

Return of investment or ROI is not that good as you invest most 32 lacs including hostel tution fee and all and you dont get the desired placement

Admission:

I applied for several pvt colleges as i did not have any option for govt college. I applied for upes,galgotiya,maharaja agrasain,vit. But i choosed manipal jaipur as i needed a reputable clg with descent placements and near to my home so that i can visit my family on weekends. Admission is through their entrance test MET or you can have direct Admission just need to have above 65% in physics maths english and a fouth subject either chem aur computer science or ip.

very good college life especially if you go for hostel much much better than any other engineering college. Good gender ratio.
College provides quiet good opportunites for those who work hard.
Very beautifull and lush green campus. Good facilities

Dislikes

Crowd here is not too good mostly are here to enjoy there college life.
Some professors are good but some just read the ppt so its totally up to you.
Can easily be distracted so be focused before coming

Admission:

Till now i am satisfied with the college. It has good currilum good college life has manipal's brand name ithas opportunites for those really wanted to work. The admission process is quiet simle first one is direct admission based on boards score and the the other is manipal entrance exam followed by met councelling. So it could be your back up option if you don't get something better

Research exposure is great and you will get many exposure related to same

Location is very far from the jaipur it takes 1 hr from jaipur
Placements should be improved atleast for law dept
Cultural compostion should be improved as it may affect the students

Admission:

I chose this college because of multiple reasons, which include the NIRF ranking, industry collaborations, and research collaborations, etc. The admission process is quite easy, and the competition is less. and the university is student friendly.

I am sure most people are going to answer this by saying a score of 350+ is likely considered good in the Manipal University Exam.

Well, I have a completely different opinion in this regard. This is because my sister had a score of 297 and yet was able to get into Electrical and Electronics Engineering, at Manipal University. What I mean is, scores certainly are a major factor affecting Your chances of admission, but not the only factor. An excellent profile or interview performance might help you get into your dream college. The fact that she got admission, not in a less demanded branch but EIE was a miracle indeed.

So the key is to work hard and don't let mere scores demotivate you.
