The college is very good with optimum quality education to students. The management is very good, campus is very clean and healthy for students. The inside environment is maintained such that students get the very fresh environment to study. The college has been so good. The faculty here are very supportive and especially the director is so concerned about the students and the quality of education they get. The quality of education is also good. The semester fees are so reasonable, anyone can afford it and you will never find such a quality college which is under the central government and offering such a low fee structure.

fees is afordable for all categories and good practicals lab and good sportd dept.Their is only nad thing is that mess staff.

The wifi facility is very good in comparison to other colleges. The wifi really helps the college students to gain knowledge through online lectures. The labs are pretty good. Technicians helps us to do experiments. The classrooms are very good in mechanical and CS blocks, like those in primary standard. Many books are available in the college library. Though they are not too many, we get some good books from there. The medical facilities are like in government hospitals- very slow. For sports and games, there are two fields available in the college. Many games are played on them. Yearly intra-hostel and inter-hostel tournaments are organized here. Mess food is very bad. In almost every hostel except PG hostels, boys hostels are kind of good but as we talk about girls hostels, they are truly like a jail. In winters, the girls hostel gates close by 6 pm and in summers, the gates close at 7 pm.

After so many good or bad things, i just want to tell u one thing SLIET is one of the best engineering college of India. This is the best place to live. A lush green 451 acres of college. That is enough for a student.

The college is overall nice, I appreciate the infrastructure and other good qualities of the college. Since every thing has its own cons, so the college is also having cons and in my opinion, the management is not focussing on the students' welfare. Since the benefits which are provided by the college to each and every student are not given. For ex. Railway Concession ticket is given to students but every time, students have to face the problem since the staff on duty tell that the concession form has been finished. These are some of the issues which could be corrected so that the students are given good care.

Never even apply for this college.worst management, campus, placemets. It will eat up your carrier like anything.

Best for punjabi only. I recommend look for iits/nits. Be strong by yourself. Everything here is a self survice. U will learn many things specially experience of Engineering but you will not learn much about engineering if you join this institute.

College management average. Sometimes it happens that exams are not conducted according to the date mentioned in the academic calender.

I took SET (SLIET Entrance Test) to get admitted in the college. I opted for this college because of its academic excellence and repute. It is run by Government of India.

I gave SET(SLIET ENTRANCE TEST). My all india rank IS 232. I opt this college because this is an Central government institution. And the teachers also good. And there are so many facilities like health centre, shopping complex, approx 450 acres campus with full greenery.
