Remarks

The college is very good with optimum quality education to students. The management is very good, campus is very clean and healthy for students. The inside environment is maintained such that students get the very fresh environment to study. The college has been so good. The faculty here are very supportive and especially the director is so concerned about the students and the quality of education they get. The quality of education is also good. The semester fees are so reasonable, anyone can afford it and you will never find such a quality college which is under the central government and offering such a low fee structure.

Entrance Preview

I gave the examination offered by the college itself. I choose chemical engineering because I found the stream interesting.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course structure which I fall into is very good and optimum for a student pursuing chemical engineering. They cover all the topics and subjects which are useful and helpful for the students in details. The structure is made such that if anyone wants to opt for gate exam after persuing the bachelors he/she can easily prepare for it during semesters as the subjects are helpful.

Internships Opportunities

No. The college has it's own criteria of providing in-house training and vocational training to students in B.E. 1st and 2nd year and vocational training of 6weeks in B.E. thrid year. The internship programme is yet to be started.

4

There are several: Technical - kewizar is the biggest technical fest which is celerated in March. Madhuram- It's the cultural event celebrated every year in November. Hostel nights are also celebrated. Other than that fresher's and farewell of every department is held accordingly.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is so feasible. It costs only 23000 per semester. The admission fees is also not very high it's only 51000 including the 1st semester fees. The hostel fees is also included in the semester fees. You just have to give the mess fees monthly of 2300 per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes sveral kind of loan and scholoraship facilities are provided for needy students as well as meritorious students.

Campus Life

4.5

The gender ratio is ok around 1:5. There are several cultural and technical societies inside the campus. Other than that NCC, ISTE, Hindi committee is also available inside the campus. There is always something sports competition happening inside the campus. Robotics committee is also available inside the campus and they keep participating in several competitions inside and outside the college. The campus is full of diversity and religion as they say India is a country of unity in diversity and so do our college. There are no any chances of ragging and politics for students. The faculties are very responsible and they take very good care of students. There are so many facilities provided for girls and their safety is maintained on a very well basis.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel facilities are optimum for any students. A reading room is provided in every hostel. A gymnasium and a separate t.v. room is also provided separately in every hostel . Other than that a basketball court, a badminton court and a tennis court is also provided. And there is a separate space provided for indoor games. The mess food is of good quality and taste is also ok. The food is kept healthier.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. There is always an aluminium meet organised at the college were all the alumini are invited and they share all their experience amd provide proper guidance to students.

Exam Structure

The exams there are like you have to give three exams per semester because there is 2 minor exams between the semester and a major exam at the end of semester which we call end semester examination. Suitable gaps are provided in between paper in end semester examination and the minor examination is of 5 days or according to the number of papers you have to deal with in a semester. They are not hectic because they make us be prepared for the end semester examinations. Labs are also good there they are like anyone can gain knowledge if they want to . They are a sort of chilled out and not hectic.

Admission

First I gave the entrance test offered by the institute itself. Then I was shortlisted for the document verification process. I paid the seat holding fee because I wanted to be admitted there. Then I was called for a counseling and document verification process. When the documents were verified, I paid the admission fee.

Faculty

4

All the professors are highly qualified from some it's or other well government colleges. They have very practical knowledge about every subject they teach. Particular professor chooses a subject in which he has mastered so that they can provide good knowledge to students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.
