Teaching staff is very kind, helpful and understanding towards students they help students in every aspect including academic and personal and hostel related problems. One can share study and personal problems with them easy and seek advice from them
University campus offers a great opportunity to grow develop a person. You can interact with student at national as well as global level. Campus is so beautifully landscaped and air quality is so pure providing you a pollution free environment.
Quality of study that is very excellent and ICAR curriculum is followed that makes it more beneficiary for students.Many camps trainings are organised to provide experience to students for further life.

Dislikes

Administrative staff is bit negelecting in nature they cause delay and problems in your official works so you need to careful about that.
Hostels are problematic in nature as students are more and existing hostels are not enough for accomodating students properly
For international and other indian states student food can be a big issue as due to huge difference in food preferences.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Major reason to choose course was as punjab is agricultural state so I wanted to pursue for same but with more diversified field that is still not very popular as cultivation of fruits vegetables flowers and agroforestry so that a broad spectrum can be covered

Likes

Infrastructure of our college is very good and cleaniness is fully maintained.
Faculty is very good and they teach us through presentation by which it is easy to understand.
Our college environment is full of trees and greenery so it is very peacefull

Dislikes

Our college does not give any placement to our course
Students are not much intractive as they are happy with themselves only
Classes are not air conditioned so in summers it is very difficult to attend classes

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course have very much scope in future as it heps to become an entrepreneur and in foreign countries demand of this field is high. As now a days people are becoming health conscious so they eat fruits and vegetables and my course is fully related with the production of fruits and vegetables.

The Agricultural engineering Degree brief

Likes

The teaching method is very good they teach theoretical and then practical
Lab are very good and have goof machines used for practical
Class rooms has projector and leds which help for better understanding of ppts and notes

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not good and is very old
The exams are very tough and many students get fail
The class rooms are not good donot contain ac which is bad in summers

Placement Experience:

After completing 6 semester at the end of 3 rd year students are eligible for placements as companies arrives for placements and in last year there is training which we can work in any company and after that gets placements i want to do m techafter completing degree

Likes

The teaching method of class is very good.
The labs are very good and are machines are used for practicals.
The classroom has projectors and leds good

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not good and very old.
The exams are very touch and many students get failed.

Experience of BTech agriculture engineering college

Likes

The campus of the university is very beautiful.
The canteen area are wonderful and awesome.
Maintaince of the campus is very neat and clean.

Dislikes

I disliked the classroom structure and doors.
I disliked the canteen area and is not good.
I disliked the air system in all the classroom.

Placement Experience:

There is campus placement and with good offer and every one get their beloved placement. Highest package of the college is 100000 to the student and the average is 400000. My plan is to get placement in the sawaraj

The experience at Btech agriculture college

Likes

College environment is really great PAU provides a really good environment for the students
Course are really good and they provide a basic knowledge and practical skills to all
They usually provide both practical and theoretical knowledge

Dislikes

The faculty members are sometimes not that good while teaching
Boys girls ratio is too a issue as there are more boys than girls in the college
More technical stuff and latest technology is needed

Course is really interesting and provides knowledge but its a difficult course and really needs tough work and you have to study a lot for success but it becomes quite easy after you get enrolled into the college

Likes

Every thing is firstly taught theoretical and then practically also
Extra marks for students who participate in co curricular activities who get positions
Classrooms are good with projecters and leds

Dislikes

The infrastructure and classrooms are old
During summers the temperature and heat increases
Electricity cuts are very much during summers and no generaters are there

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in the college as 4 year is of training The students with good OCPA gets pre placements in the end of the 3rd year and in summer breaks we get training to different companies and institutes which helps in placements 11 lakh rupees by Johndeere company 80 percent I will do M Tech in Farm Machinery And power

Study is very good in the University campus. Professors are very dedicated to their work.

Dislikes

Sometimes people of general category face problem due to high fees
As it is government University so its fees should be less

Decoding the PAU experience

Likes

The environment of university is very safe and eco friendly. Especially girls dont have to face any trouble
The food is hygiene student doesnot face any problem hostels are available which are little disappointing but they have maintained as much as they can
The faculties members are also very understanding . Their is proper maintainence in the university . Even they have sports facilities avalilable . Library is very good

Dislikes

Lack of drinking water facilities in the university . And washroom are not cleaned properly
The coolers are not in working condition and during summer it causes lots of trouble and even generators are not present

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is very interesting and teachers also provides us the notes Exam is divided as 3 sections first hourly mid term and end term in which first hourly consist of 10 marks and mid term 25-30 and end term 70 marks If we studied in first hourly and mid term properly woth good marks then we surely get passes easily
