Likes

The teaching method of class is very good.
The labs are very good and are machines are used for practicals.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not good and very old.
The exams are very touch and many students get failed.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is good and i want to do engineering and i want placement for good career and good packages. Exams are of one hour and mid and end sema are of two hours which are quite difficult to complete.

Internships Opportunities

John deere Swaraj Mahindra Sonalika Farmtrac new holland. Many companies visit punjab agriculture university campus and take interview according to the OCGPA of the students graduation and select students for the companies.

Placement Experience

After completed six semester at the end of thord year students are eligible for placements as companies arrive for givibg placments and in last year there is training for the placements. And i want to do masters m.tech.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

I paid sixty five thousand of first semester which include tution fees, hostel fee and forty thousand of second semester and ten thousand of hostel fees of one semester.The sc category pai ten thousand one hundred forty rupees.

Campus Life

The name of annual festival is youth festival which is held in November and the range of books in pau library is around two lakh fifty thousand. The projectors are provided in libraries. Every sport has different coaches.

Hostel Facilities

In every hostel the 3 members are living and hostel cleanliness is done every day. The hostel mess is good and we can eat food full hygienic and of good quality. Every student who want to take hostel has to apply while admission.

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

I applied in Guru nanak dev university for bsc hons agriculture and my admission was confirmed but i was more interested in engineering and pau has more value than other universitiesand this college has good packages

Remarks:

One thing I feel bad about the college is the placement cell and the marketing department. If they work hard on this , they will get more admissions and good revenue. But it will need time to make the market in this field.

Remarks:

Overall the college management It good but there is only one problem that we don't get the admit card until we pay the next semester fee.They should have a common sense that why would we leave the college after 5 or 6 semesters and we have paid the fee for that particular semester so we should be given admit card on time. It was the best experience in my entire life.It taught me so much and I'll remember it in my entire life.

Awesome College and Environment

Remarks:

College was good. If you have to know about Punjab than must go there everything was very excellent. College management was co-operative and supported us all aspects.

Not a very good experience

Remarks:

Please do not opt for this college. I am not sure if things have improved there or not. But please do your due diligence before opting for this college.I think now the fee structure has been revamped and it costs much less.

Due to more number of student per student derives level reduced its make a harsh full environment to control this management forced illogical nonsense rules which make student panic management need to strong to manage mob without hampering their freedom.

Highs n lows of Biotechnology in PAU

I wanted to study Biotechnology and that too in my home town. Therefore, PAU was my preferable choice. Also, it offers BTech degree over Bsc degree which I found was an edge. Besides, one has to go through the common entrance test (CET) to get admission which is quite simpler than those national level exam. Also, CET provides the only gateway by which one can avail any program whether life sciences, Agriculture or dietics in PAU based upon ranking(exceptions are fashion designing and Agricultural engineering). Though being the public university, its fees is reasonable but the programs like Biotechnology and food technology comes under self funding whose fees is exceptionally high. Here, labs are well-furnished and provides the good practical experience in terms of equipments only in the last year. Otherwise, in the earlier years, the staff gives only demonstration.
