Remarks

Please do not opt for this college. I am not sure if things have improved there or not. But please do your due diligence before opting for this college.I think now the fee structure has been revamped and it costs much less.

Entrance Preview

Entrance Examination - CET Punjab Scored 5000 rank. Chose this college because I got computer science & engineering only in this college for my rank.

Internships Opportunities

No Stipend, Had to do internship at a networking company that too self funded. College did not help in getting the internship. Did not learn too much, since the company was just interested in getting simple jobs done from the interns.

Placement Experience

0.5

There were not placement or job opportunities that college provided. No company came for placement to our college. Everyone had to look out for jobs on their own.

College Events

0.5

Cultural Events - There were programs organized where people would participate in dance, singing, skits etc. There were not management organized fests. It was just the students who took the initiative of arranging for these programs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was very expensive. Fees was about 50, 000 per annum. Fees was due each year. For paid seat it was even more costly. The fees was around 80K for the paid seat.

Fees and Financial Aid

There were no such loans provided by the college. There was no such scholarship provided by the college.

Campus Life

1

There were no extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions such as robotics, debates etc.We had to take computer courses on our own outside the college.

Hostel Facilities

1

Hostels were in a very bad condition. It was situated in the middle of a jungle. Mess food was awful. There was no proper arrangement of food and facilities in the hostel. Most of the people preferred staying outside the hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

There is no alumni network. No one is interested in creating one. People went on for their higher studies, and there is no interest in creating an alumni network.

Exam Structure

There were very less lectures, as the teachers generally did not come to the classes. Labs were also not much equipped, there was no computer training. Also, there was no internet in the computer lab.

Faculty

1

Very poor - Most of the teachers did not know the subject they were teaching. Some of them even did not give lectures. Most of the teachers were just B.Tech graduates from other similar colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the begning i was always into tech and computers i liked to make my school persentation on my pc and that's the main reason for taking the stream CSE . The curriculum makes you ready for thr real world application by providing classes for eveything that a student is facing problem. If you ask me for the suggestion then some teachers should change their tecahing methods so that they will help the student in a better way . The frequency and timing of the exam goes like the college conducts two internal exams for the internal marks known as MST and one final exam and the difficulty level is medium

Placement Experience:

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.
