SCSIT Admission 2025
SCSIT admission is based on the merit scores of students from the latest qualifying exam. Admissions are offered through the CUET. Students must first appear for the CUET UG exam and then apply for admission to DAVV. DAVV conducts counselling based on scores and other relevant criteria, such as merit lists for some programs. In some cases, such as the BCA program, a portion of seats may be filled through direct admission, based on a minimum cutoff in the qualifying examination, 12th grade. For PG Admissions, like M.Tech, MBA, based on the relevant examination. PG Admission is done through the CUET/GATE and Counselling.
Some programs, like the MCA and M.Sc. in Computer Science & IT, may have a merit-based admission process without a written entrance test. For Diploma admission is based on the 10+2 examination marks.

SCSIT Infrastructure & Campus
SCSIT Campus has a lakh square feet building with open spaces for indoor and outdoor games & sports, and the whole building is surrounded by 2 lakh square feet of green space. Centre Plaza and the backside lawn inside the building are full of plants. More than 1500 trees are planted on the premises. Two auditoriums are well furnished with an echo and equipped with a multimedia projection system. Ten rooms for classroom teaching and two rooms for tutorials.
Labs: The institute has over 250 computers, including 200 with modern configurations (Dell Optiplex 7010 i5 13th Gen., Optiplex 5000 i5 12th Gen., and Optiplex 9020 i7 2nd Gen.) and 50 HP Core 2 Duo systems. Key labs include the Research & Development Lab, Project Lab, Programming Lab, Machine Learning Lab, IoT Lab, Database & Data Mining Lab, Hardware & Electronics Lab, and Software Engineering & ERP Lab. An English Language Lab with microphones and Globarena software supports language learning.
Library: The department has a fully automated library with 16,053 text and reference books, all fully bar-coded for easy access. It also houses 1,100 e-lecture CDs. The library also has online journals, providing access to top computer science publications such as ACM and IEEE.
Sports Facilities: The department offers sports facilities for Chess, Carrom, Table Tennis, Badminton, Volleyball, and Cricket. Additionally, a centralised facility is available to support many other indoor and outdoor games.
