Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) Ludhiana is the oldest university in the field of Agricultural Education. It was established in 1962. It offers UG, PG and Ph.D. courses in different specializations. Application forms can be filled online or can be obtained in person or by post.
- PAU Ludhiana conducts the Common Entrance Test (CET) followed by counselling to offer admission in B.Sc (Hons.) courses except for B.Sc (Architecture/ Fashion Designing).
- Candidates have to appear in the national level Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) to secure admission in B.Sc (Architecture) program.
- For B.Sc in Fashion Designing, the candidates have to appear in Design Aptitude Test (DAT) conducted by NID.
- B.Tech and Integrated M.Sc admissions are also based on the score in CET except for B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering for which a valid score in JEE Main is mandatory.
- For M.Tech, MBA, MCA (Regular+Lateral), MJMC and M.Sc courses, PAU conducts MET followed by an interview.
- Ph.D. admission is based PAU Written Test and Interview. Although, ICAR qualified candidates are directly eligible for the interview round.

PAU Ludhiana B.Sc & B.Tech Admission 2024
PAU serves various undergraduate programs such as B.Sc and B.Tech in various specializations. Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc (Hons.) need to appear in CET conducted by PAU except for B.Sc in Architecture and Fashion Designing. For B.Sc in Architecture, the candidates have to appear in AAT conducted by IITs.
For B.Sc in Fashion Designing aspiring candidates have to attend DAT conducted by NID which is held specially to determine the design abilities of aspirants.

PAU Ludhiana PG Admission 2024: M.Tech, MBA. MCA, M.Sc & MJMC
At PG level, PAU offers M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Sc and MJMC in different disciplines. Apart from regular courses, the university also offers MCA (Lateral Entry) and Integrated M.Sc.
Admission is based on the score in MET conducted by PAU followed by an Interview. Admission to M.Tech in Remote Sensing and GIS is done on the basis of an interview round for the shortlisted candidates. CET qualified candidates are eligible to apply for Integrated M.Sc program.

Admission:
Because this college values all the students They didnot discriminate between the students all the students are treated equally They have many facilities that others donot have as compared to other colleges
Likes
- Teaching staff is very kind, helpful and understanding towards students they help students in every aspect including academic and personal and hostel related problems. One can share study and personal problems with them easy and seek advice from them
- University campus offers a great opportunity to grow develop a person. You can interact with student at national as well as global level. Campus is so beautifully landscaped and air quality is so pure providing you a pollution free environment.
Dislikes
- Administrative staff is bit negelecting in nature they cause delay and problems in your official works so you need to careful about that.
- Hostels are problematic in nature as students are more and existing hostels are not enough for accomodating students properly
Admission:
Majorly two reasons follow my choice first one was agriculture and second one was university campus. A entrance exam is reqired to qualify for taking admussion and according to merit formed on basis of your marks you are offered graduation programmmes.

Admission:
It is a very renowned college and university in Ludhiana, Punjab, India. It is 2nd highest and largest university in India for agriculture and science related research topics. Students get well informed information and knowledge about everything from the website

- Infrastructure of our college is very good and cleaniness is fully maintained.
- Faculty is very good and they teach us through presentation by which it is easy to understand.
Dislikes
- Our college does not give any placement to our course
- Students are not much intractive as they are happy with themselves only
Admission:
I did not applied for any other college because i want to take admission in this college only and get it . The is that this college is government college and fees is also very affordable and this course will have scope in the future. And eligibility creteria was that the student must be from punjab and university took our exam and on ranking basis we have chooses our courses.

- The exams are very tough and many students get fail

I applied in guru nanak dev university amritsar for bsc agriculture and my admission was confirmed. But i was more interested in engineering and PAU has more value and this college has high placement opportunities and good packages. The admissions process of the college is CET common entrance test

I applied in Guru nanak dev university for bsc hons agriculture and my admission was confirmed but i was more interested in engineering and pau has more value than other universitiesand this college has good packages

- The canteen area are wonderful and awesome.

- I disliked the classroom structure and doors.
- I disliked the canteen area and is not good.
Admission:
I chose this college it placement percentage is very much from other colleges. I didn't get rejection from any college I firstly apply here and get addmission. Addmission process is to clear the university exam and the rank wise the seats are given.

- College environment is really great PAU provides a really good environment for the students
- Course are really good and they provide a basic knowledge and practical skills to all
Dislikes
- The faculty members are sometimes not that good while teaching
- Boys girls ratio is too a issue as there are more boys than girls in the college

Actually I wanted to get enrolled in agriculture college but due to the entrance examination I didn't got the suitable rank for the seat in that college Thereafter I decided to choose this college There are 2 eligibility criteria first one is JEE and other is PAU entrance exam

- Every thing is firstly taught theoretical and then practically also
- Extra marks for students who participate in co curricular activities who get positions
Dislikes
- The infrastructure and classrooms are old
- During summers the temperature and heat increases
Admission:
I applies in guru nanak dev university Amritsar in Bsc agriculture and i confirmed admission in 2nd counselling. It is far from my home and i have interest in btech and engineering over bsc. No I don't get rejection from other college The admission process of my college is it has entrance test called CET Common entrance test and according to your rank you can choose college and degree in the university.
