Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum touches all the aspects academics, sports, culture everything making a person more confident in every field and giving opportunities in different fields Talking about the exam patterns, the exams are set from the syllabus which is taught thorougly throughout the semester along with practical knowledge making students better at the understanding of the things theoratically and practically as well

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure for Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Hons. At PAU Ludhiana is 12-13000 per year that makes it 78000 for the fees and other expenses makes it in total 1-1.5 lakh. Generally the fees structure doesn't change much despite some minimal changes

Campus Life

Overall experience was very good, its the best part of my life, campus is very good, infrastructure is very good, good sports, cultural and academic apportunities to go for. There are many social groups in the college which take care of the needs of students. Its very good college to choose

Admission

I choose this college because its the best college to optt for agricultural field Pau has been ranked number 1 Agricultural university in the whole Asia twice which makes it more evident to go for PAU only Admission process is super easy there is an entrance exam which is normal general knowledge and a little about agriculture once you clear it you go for the councelling which takes place in the university itself after checking your documents your admission is approved and you are good to go for this World class University

Faculty

Talking about the faculty its the best at PAU,teachers are very cooperative and of helping nature Course structure of B.Sc.Agri(Hons.) is in semester system, each semester of 4-5 months, exams held thrice a semester i.e.First hourly after one month of semester start, then Mid-term Exams at the mid of semester and last final exams at last along with final practicals Marking Scheme is as such the first 2 exams first-hourly and mid-term are checked internally but the final exams are checked externally

Life in PAU

Placement Experience:

During last semester students become eligible for placements. Companies visited are Relaince, HDFC BANK, Swiggy, Godrej foods ltd. and many more. Avg package is around 6-7 lakhs per annum. students max dont go for placements they rather go for masters degree. My plans are to become an entrepreneur.

degree experience

well to be honest I have not applied to any other college as i just want do bsc agriculture in this university. but due to my rank i was unable to selected for takinf admission in bsc agriculture. so i preferred this degree over it as due to update academic ( bsc horticulture & forestry consider same as bsc agriculture) which help in making eligible for giving paper of ADO( agriculture development officer) . As to take admission in this university under this degree first u have to give paper CET( common entrance test) on the basis of number optain ranking is given( in this test 11th & 12 th syllabus comes , mcqs. Omr sheets have to be filled at the time of paper. well cuts goes near about 600 rank from 250 on ward as 2-3 councilling are conducted. well my experience about the admission was not so good as i got admission in this program in 3rd councelling....Read More

My Experience in PAU : the good & the bad

For BSc Agriculture Hons. , two tests are there to get admission: If you want to get into PAU after 10th AAT ( Agricultural Aptitude Test ) is there - every year held in june or july. : can be easily cleared with 2 months of study , the questions asked are from the syllabus you study in 9th 10th standard along with general agriculture questions from the PSEB books for Agriculture ( Class 6th to 10th ) Those who want to go for BSc Agri Hons. after 12th can appear for CET ( Common Entrance Test ) : It is pretty much easier as compared to NEET or JEE....Read More
