Course Curriculum Overview

2

Poor. Practical knowledge is not proper. Theory classes are not taken by some teachers properly. We just have to study ourselves. Fees is too high and knowledge that we gain comparative to the fees is very less.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are available for SC/ST/OBC. Tuition fees hikes every year with 10%. Complete cost of my education is 8 lakh including tuition fees and hostel except the mess. The other charges are the security that you have to submit ni hostel that is refundable. No employment from campus.

Campus Life

1.5

Poor. No clubs. Only youth festival that helds once in a year where getting selected and representing your college is a difficult task. Sports meet held once in a year. Poor facilities and technological provisions within the classroom. The good classrooms are funded by ICAR. There are no social groups, clubs, or student portals

Hostel Facilities

0.5

Just a fan , a wooden bed , a light , table for two. Accomodation of 4 people in one room. If the fan gets damaged or doesn't work you are own your own. No generators available. You have to pay the security 11000 hostel 5000 mess. And then after waiting in a long queue on registration day you will get the room.

Admission

PAU CET is the exam that is to be given to take admission in UG courses. You can easily find the application form on the site. Application fees has reduced now. At my time it was 5600 Yes many reservation benefits are available to low caste people . Difficultly level - Medium. Helds every year. Fees should be low And no reservations should be there

As this is government University, many teachers don't even take proper classes. When they check the exams the marks they give are so less that we are unable to increase our OCPA. They really need to work on the facilities they provide to students. There is nothing that I can say I proud to study here.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in their final year (7th semester). only a few companies made no offers. I can recall only 1 name Nation with NAMO. highest package in Civil branch was 14LPA. Average is 6LPA. for all branches highest was 42LPA with average 12 LPA. placement % is 60-80 among all branches which is improving every year. I am planning for higher education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was interested in Robotics and my parents wanted me to take a core branch. The curriculum is not very relevant but some topics are good and related like modern welding technologies and manufacturing techniques. I think our college curriculum needs to be updated where more new world technologies like AR and VRs should be taught with advance robotics. Teaching methods used are classical I think professors should try to use smart classrooms to visualise the concept to make it better understandable. Exams are moderate level but I think our college needs to reduce exam frequency although we have time but due to exams nearly every month it doesn't feel good.
