Likes

Staff is excellent , cooperative & inteligent .
Hostels are in good condition and mess is good.
Field work is excellent and hospital facilities are available

Dislikes

Academic staff is very poor. They just do the work they want otherwise they don't.
Academic branch is not helpful to students. They show their ego while working.
Some things are very much expensive in University.

Course Curriculum Overview

By Idea of going abroad and settle down in foreign country, I took this course. But Know I kinda regret it because there is very less scope of this course in India and My parents are not allowing me to go abroad.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Overall Fees is average of this course. Easily affordable according to the reservations applied during admission. It also offers different scholarships to students for empowering them to work hard and be successful.

Campus Life

Overall experience in University was good. Infrastructure should be improved and regular events and shows should be introduced. Life in University is boring without events and activities. Swimming pool should be open for all

Admission

There are 120 seats 60 general 60 reservation kota Exam level is difficult and 100marks Paper AAT exam 50marks for agriculture 10 marks for mathematics 10 marks for English 30 marks for Science. Result comes on same day of exam

Faculty

Overall experience of Faculty towards me was very excellent because I'm a kind of student who knows how to build good relationships. Everyone was cooperative with me and they took good care of me in very situation. They are very supportive in nature.

Pros and Cons of LPU

Placement Experience:

In our course in bsc agriculture the placement is not that much that much good but in other courses like B.tech CSE in that courses there are the very high placements one of our senior get 2.5 CR package from LPU and one of our senior also get 3 crore package this is highest package and the average package of B.tech CSE is 5 to 10 lakh If the campus is not offering placement to me I will go for government exams or going for entrepreneurship also offers good package but not that much good the bsc agriculture sector wants needs more improve improvement in placement cell yeah that's all but if a person wants to do semester exchange also in foreign countries so over University will also provide some guidance to him and they will support the students to go for an exchange for foreign semester exchange programs and there are two many things also

A genuine review of LPU university specially for agriculture students

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit in placements after 7th semester , there's interview based skill classes from 1st semester , for agriculture students companies like itc agro , dhanuka , corteva visit for in campus placements . Average package for agri students is 5-6 lakhs , nearly 75-80% students get placement offers . I'm planning to do buisness after my graduation or takeover my family buisness .

Life in PAU

Placement Experience:

During last semester students become eligible for placements. Companies visited are Relaince, HDFC BANK, Swiggy, Godrej foods ltd. and many more. Avg package is around 6-7 lakhs per annum. students max dont go for placements they rather go for masters degree. My plans are to become an entrepreneur.

Admission:

degree experience

well to be honest I have not applied to any other college as i just want do bsc agriculture in this university. but due to my rank i was unable to selected for takinf admission in bsc agriculture. so i preferred this degree over it as due to update academic ( bsc horticulture & forestry consider same as bsc agriculture) which help in making eligible for giving paper of ADO( agriculture development officer) . As to take admission in this university under this degree first u have to give paper CET( common entrance test) on the basis of number optain ranking is given( in this test 11th & 12 th syllabus comes , mcqs. Omr sheets have to be filled at the time of paper. well cuts goes near about 600 rank from 250 on ward as 2-3 councilling are conducted. well my experience about the admission was not so good as i got admission in this program in 3rd councelling....Read More
