Course Curriculum Overview

5

This course was really interesting and choosing this course was my greatest decision ever. Curriculum influenced us very much for this course...there is very wide scope. Many opportunities are provided.

Internships Opportunities

5

Internship are provided to many number of students. These are provided by National Internship Program. Students availed for internship build up their confidence and become multi-talented by the hardwork and dedication.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year-wise fee is near about 1,14,000 each year. Including University charges about 13000 for a year and remaining tuition fees. Registration fees 5500. Scholarship based on merit are provided. Which deducts nearly 20,000 each year

Campus Life

5

There are many annual and technical festivals celebrated in the college campus i.e. New years celebration (Jan) , Gurupurab(Jan), Lohri(Jan), Vibgyor (Late Jan), Basant Panchami (Feb), Holi (March), Farewell parties (March), Teej (August), Diwali(Nov), Gurupurab(Nov) There are many libraries in the college including various books, Sports activities and competitions are also performed.

Admission

• I applied for this course in Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana and also at Khalsa College,Amritsar from where i get confirmed admission. I choose this college because its near my area. • No, there is no rejection from both the institutions. But, there are more opportunities provided to the students in this college and well maintained infrastructure. • Admission process in the college is very simple and easy to perform. The required documents are verified and the fee is submitted at the time of admission.

Faculty

5

There are very supportive faculty members. Have good relations with the students. There are MST's and 11 subjects which are taken two times per semester. Final exams and final practicals are taken every semester.

Interview Experience

5

Yes, i have experienced Group Discussion in college. Topic for the group discussion is Stubble Burning. Firstly we were given a topic and 5 minutes to prepare. We collect relevant points on that topic and then discussed over it.

Night Life

4

Nightlife in college is really enjoyable. Hostel timings are till 8:00 pm. Gym,cafe and library facilities are provided to hostel students. The locality is safe to roam around in the college, security is also there.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placements from their final year and should have passed all the subjects. Companies visited are ITC, Adani Wilmar, dhanuka, some startups Highest package offered for the current session was 8lpa to 4 students where the average pay is 3.6 lpa Due to low pay most of the students turn down the job offer and goes on pursuing higher studies. So far, from what I have experienced is that there is cut throat competition in the placements.
