The faculty is well experienced and all staff members are very friendly and kind
There is proper faculties available for practical sessions so that each student can understand better
There are certain intresting events time to time which makes the studies and enjoyable time balanced

Dislikes

The college time is quiet longer about 9am to 5pm
The ratio of girls to boys is lesser about 1:2

Course Curriculum Overview

First of all the institution is well managed and has high reputation among all the institutions. There is scope of choosing agricultural engineering on which basis I can be placed over the companies like John deere, tafe , Mahindra etc. The course tell is about the real world problems faced by farmers and how to sought these problems. Some practicality can be improoved The exams are hourly exams , mid term , practical, end term examination this is the pattern of exams and difficulty level is quiet moderate

Class Size: 85Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee of institution is about ?65000 (without hostel) The fee structure is as - Semester fee 28000 Hostel fee 10170 Library funds 2500 Other funds Actually I am a hostler. My friend who is day scholar he has to pay only 30000 for semster. I doesn't belong to any category and not eligible for any scholarship schemes. With applying scholarship schemes you can avail benefit upto 40000 Rs.

Campus Life

Yahh!! The overall campus life is good and the students are of friendly nature. There is proper air conditioned library in the college in which you can do your work. The college and hostel has facility of wifi all over the campus.

Admission

One of the keen reason for choosing this college over other because in punjab only this institution offers btech in agricultural engineering and has well reputation in all over the state. Also my interest was there in agriculture

Faculty

The faculty is well experienced and very friendly and approachable. They always try to solve the doubts of students at any time. My favourite teacher is Dr. Satish Gupta who is my advisor also and head of training and placement cell. I am happy with faculty available in my college

LPU has no errors!

Placement Experience:

Mid cap to large cap, every company that can afford our students services are invited to our university for hiring students. Thus far nearly 500 organizations have been invited to our university and a good bit of placements percentage is also there. No students of our university recruited have come under fire and therefore the companies which have laid faith in LPU students have kept hiring year after year.

Like at IET

Course Curriculum Overview:

I went for CSe bcz it has best career scope. The curriculum is comprehensive but a bit heavy. It touches almost all topics but didn't go deep into latest tech like AI or Cloud computing, which was a drawback. Improvements? Definitely the teaching style. Some profs are good but many rush through the syllabus to finish it. They should include more project based learning instead of just theory exams. Exams are manageable. We have typical sem system. Timing is predictable but sometimes the schedule is very tight with no gaps between papers. Difficulty wise its okay, most students study a week before exams and manage to clear them.

As I mentioned this college is new and they have no past data to show about their placement but they have good tie up with some of the giants of industry including IBM and when their SME comes to provide lectures ut really boosts your energy and motivation. But still there can't be any assurance of placement as of now untill our batch get placed successfully

My Journey and experience at my College

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate and usually starts from the 7th Semester . A few Service based Companies visit with average packages of 3-4 Lpa . Around 40 - 50 % students get placed. I plan to upskill and pursue higher studies or better job opportunities

LPU is indeed a professional university!

Placement Experience:

Around 600 recruiters so far has hired students from LPU. Not just domestic but even international names have hired students from LPU. So, I don't think one even has to look beyond LPU for that matter. I am happy that students from here have got the opportunity to work in their dream companies and soon I will be giving interviews as I am also in my final year now.

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

On campus Placements are average here. The highest package goes to 19 lakhs and Average package is 3-4 lakhs per annum. However we can not expect any MNC to visit this campus but the companies for freshers and to gain experience visit the campus.

degree experience

well to be honest I have not applied to any other college as i just want do bsc agriculture in this university. but due to my rank i was unable to selected for takinf admission in bsc agriculture. so i preferred this degree over it as due to update academic ( bsc horticulture & forestry consider same as bsc agriculture) which help in making eligible for giving paper of ADO( agriculture development officer) . As to take admission in this university under this degree first u have to give paper CET( common entrance test) on the basis of number optain ranking is given( in this test 11th & 12 th syllabus comes , mcqs. Omr sheets have to be filled at the time of paper. well cuts goes near about 600 rank from 250 on ward as 2-3 councilling are conducted. well my experience about the admission was not so good as i got admission in this program in 3rd councelling....Read More

PAU CET is the exam that is to be given to take admission in UG courses. You can easily find the application form on the site. Application fees has reduced now.
