The faculty student ratio good learning experience good teaching and mentorship good good teachers and good environment knowledge so much in teachers good all are good very good so positive environment
I personally benefited from the "merit excellence scholarship" and also secured an on-campus job as a research assistant with a stipend, providing valuable financial support during my studies.
I am confident that i will be able to find a good job after graduation, thanks to the strong relationships that my university has with top companies.

Dislikes

The faculty is not that good. like the teacher i'm provided with are not that good
Scholarships they have this crazy deal there, if you get detained in 1st year in any subject, or reappear in any subject, your scholarship will be gone.
The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now

An insightful review of L.L.B program at CU

Likes

Faculty & teaching the faculty for the L.L.B program is knowledgeable and supportive. Most teachers explain legal concepts clearly with practical examples and case laws.
Infrastructure & campus life the University has good infrastructure including smart classroom, liberary facilities, and a well-maintained campus.
Student environment & ratio the student crowd is diverse and interaction with peers is healthy. The girls-to-boys ratio is fairly balanced approximately 45:55 which creates a comfortable classroom environment

Dislikes

Large batch size duw to relatively large number of students individual attention from faculty can sometimes be limited
Placement support for law placement for L.L.B students are limited compared to professional courses.
Administration delays at time administration processes like documentation and approval can be slow.better cordination between department would make the student experience smoother

Course Curriculum Overview:

The LLB curriculum at Chandigarh University is relevant and fairly comprehensive. The course includes subject such as constitutional of criminal civil procedure and legal writing which were important factor in choosing the program. The curriculum focus on building a strong critical base along with basic critical exposure. The syllabus helps student understand legal concept clearly and prepare them for internship for studies and competitive exams. Internal assessment, presentation and assignment. Encourage regular learning and improve analytical and research skills. 1 area of improvement could be increasing practical exposure through more "activities, internship and real life case discussion overall the well structured and suitable for student who were serious about a carrier in law while still leaving scope for self learning and skill development

Nature of faculty is very good helping and understandable
Teaching methods is very good practicle knowledge with live case example is provided
Way of understanding is good you can keep every kind of problem in front of them they are very understanding snd helpful

Dislikes

Sometime they make delay in the visit like jail police station but they take
Sometime water cooler doest work much well but on complaining they resolve
Keep yourself updated with syllabus and keep on studing by yourself because some time you dont get faculty for optional subject

The course is best in terms of Cirriculam time to time debate is organized moot court are held for the practice competition are conducted on the college and state level to get connect with society social visits are made too

Gate closes at sharp 9.35 am it has a very big campus time consuming

The course curriculum is quite nice as it give some time to students to get through the books by himself and can develop the quality of self sufficiency every Saturday is off and the holidays are very less and there is an one hour break after 4 classes

the campus is very large and beautiful and creates a mesmerizing ambiance
the college has many food outlets spread all over the campus, which keeps the students hanging around
the balance between academic and social activities

Dislikes

the hectic and rigid classes and inflexible faculty
lack of assistance and guidance towards the career
this college is more like a school than college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Firstly, the university provides for all types of law, BA, BBA or BCOM and the fees are very reasonable compared to other private colleges. UILS focuses on both academics and curriculum activities like moot court, and various types of competitions for skills development. But the only major issue is that, we have classes the whole day with just a one hour recess. from 9:30 till 4:20. It exhausts the students, after which the entire day is considered as waste

Reviewing my college

Likes

Nice campus with a lively atmosphere and warm people
Our college building's infrastructure is state of the art with all the modern facilities
There are awesome food joints all around the campus with a varying variety

Dislikes

The campus is little far from the main city of Chandigarh so the commute to city takes time
The hostel are 4 seaters here which at times create problems
The university is very strict regarding the attendance and the leave policy is alsi flawed

Placement Experience:

The placements are pretty decent considering the field of law. There is a dedicated training and placement cell of the college.Internship opportunities are provided and assistance is given to students. The college invites various law firms, companies for campus placements. A large number of students usually dont sit for it because either they want to start practice or go for higher studies.

Likes

The campus life is so enjoyable, No homesickness.
The faculty of the Chandigarh university is so friendly.
Placements always plays a main role in student life and Chandigarh university helps this a lot.

Dislikes

Chandigarh university is situated little away from Chandigarh
For going to the university you have to pay the road toll tax daily.
Overall I liked the university I don’t have any more cons for this .

Hostel fun: hostel is a place to learn and be responsible. There are seperate fun and activities organised for the hostel students. It a place to understand and be responsible. It makes a child responsible and mature and hostel is a good place to stu

Dislikes

Hostel utensils un cleaned: The utensils like spoon, plates and glasses present in the hostel mess are not properly cleaned. It is very unhygienic to eat in that plates and use those spoons and glasses. All have to check and use those utensils.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements in the last year or last semester. Many reputed companies come for campus placements. There are almost 100 companies for one course coming from all across the country. Offers are maximum for the students per their talent and merit. There is an average package of 600000 for the university. 70% of the students are provided with placements. I want to practice law as an advocate after my degree and be a part of the judiciary.

Course Curriculum Overview:

as I want to be a lawyer I selected ll.B course. faculties are so good and helpful at Chandigarh University and the university offers the most conducive student ratio - 14:1 most of the faculties are Ph.D. at Chandigarh University although there are many pg and ugcnet faculties available in the university. The teaching method is so good and helpful for students, I rate 10/10 for teaching at Chandigarh University term exams used to be taken in 6 months and exams difficult is normal.

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:

Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
The university also offers open & distance learning through CUIDOL and online courses.
As per the latest placement statistics, Chandigarh University Highest International Package stands at INR 1.7 CPA seized by a B.Tech CSE-IBM Information Security student with a US-based company whereas the highest national package stood at INR 54.75 LPA.
