The faculty student ratio good learning experience good teaching and mentorship good good teachers and good environment knowledge so much in teachers good all are good very good so positive environment
I personally benefited from the "merit excellence scholarship" and also secured an on-campus job as a research assistant with a stipend, providing valuable financial support during my studies.
I am confident that i will be able to find a good job after graduation, thanks to the strong relationships that my university has with top companies.

Dislikes

The faculty is not that good. like the teacher i'm provided with are not that good
Scholarships they have this crazy deal there, if you get detained in 1st year in any subject, or reappear in any subject, your scholarship will be gone.
The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now

Chandigarh University no. 1 private university in india

Likes

Cafeteria area we have all types of cafe's in the campus
Playing area different types of courts basketball cricket tennis
Teacher and staff's are very helpful and always available for u

Dislikes

If you are going for studies so there is nothing for dislike

Placement Experience:

U get the placement in last year of your course the university has there on app so u get all the information on it There are so many companies visited in the campus for placement like Google l&t amazon and other big companies

knowledge provided for the course is excellent and staff is experienced in their particular subject and cooperative too
hygiene is very good buildings are beautiful classrooms are good and seats are comfortable too
engagement is good we can participate in different different activities and interact with everyone

Dislikes

practical study should be more in case of technical courses
there should be less classes if possible in a week as it is too exhaustive

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Lot of companies visited like L&T, Accenture, ultratech,etc. packages provided are good starting from 400000-100000. my plans after the degree was to go for higher studies.

The DCPD department conducts several mock test, interviews, and enhances our communication skills that helps us to crack interviews of prominent companies, such as Google, Microsoft, and Amazon, etc The worst variety of unique courses, which Chandigarh University offers also makes it as won the best universities in North India, each and every course of the Chandigarh University is not just designed for learning. It also fosters our carrier goals.

Likes

College infrastructure is too good including basic amenities.
For my course, special subjects were induced every semester for professional development.
Software workshops being held time to time.

Dislikes

Being from Civil branch, I personally felt lack of lab facilities.
Syllabus provided was good but not at the top notch level so as to clear any govt. exam.
Management of certain things, specially in hostels need to be looked upon.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester, companies started coming at my time. There were a lot of companies including big and small ones offering avg. salary of 5.5 lpa or something. For Civil department, highest package went upto 7 lpa. Percentage of students getting placed is around 70%.

Chandigarh university: Student’s way to power

Likes

Good infrastructure and supportive staff
Vast range of experience and hospitality
Good and evolving talks with teachers about the world

Dislikes

Fees structure is very large, everyone can’t afford it
Attendance criteria, minimum 75% attendance is required
Semester is of 4 months only rather than 6 months

My course was all based on practical as well as written work , though in civil engineering you require more of practical knowledge and also bit of written knowledge. I didn't get all the practical knowledge that I needed

College life is very good in Chandigarh University
College campus area is very big and there is various activities happened
Canteen and cafe area is very good for students

Dislikes

Sometimes rules and regulations cause strkes
Drinking water problem is also happened in the University
In few cases professor are not available in the class

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is held on every year it only depends on the students to get the job means which totally depends on their skills. But sometimes students also have opportunities for offline placement. Few of students also take job in the internship period.

Likes

i like library and campus people rooming
and the canteen in university are healthy food available
faculty i like some of faculty’s listen us

Dislikes

parking facilities are not proper people have too walk so long
summer classes the collect money and easily pass students
timing of lectures i dont like timings thats it

I use this because my parents did graduation because my elder brother did in civil engg and they got a job he did from thapar university Patiala and so there is family pressure on me. faculty is very very bad if students don't want to learn and teachers will also be in favor of students.

I choose civil engineering because since my childhood I'm so excited all time about how buildings are made. I have a passion to make the building so after 12th I choose civil engineering. Faculty members are very cooperative and friendly nature.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because I have a very keen interest in buildings, especially infrastructure. so following my interest, I am here in civil engineering. faculties are very good. there is 1 professor with over 40 students. most of the professors are perusing their PhD from the same university. method of their teaching is quite good. As our exams were online. so it was a fully objective-based exam. and it was not too difficult to pass out.

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:

Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
The university also offers open & distance learning through CUIDOL and online courses.
