The faculty student ratio good learning experience good teaching and mentorship good good teachers and good environment knowledge so much in teachers good all are good very good so positive environment
I personally benefited from the "merit excellence scholarship" and also secured an on-campus job as a research assistant with a stipend, providing valuable financial support during my studies.
I am confident that i will be able to find a good job after graduation, thanks to the strong relationships that my university has with top companies.

Dislikes

The faculty is not that good. like the teacher i'm provided with are not that good
Scholarships they have this crazy deal there, if you get detained in 1st year in any subject, or reappear in any subject, your scholarship will be gone.
The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now

CU the life worth living.

Likes

The curriculum built and mapping is perfectly done keeping in mind the future accomplishments of the field
The best part about the university is its campus and its atmosphere fun yet disciplined the teachers are cooperative yet well versed with the subject matters.
The security is top notch and the fun engagement for the students is always there so it is not all about the studies but in a nutshell CU is a complete package

Dislikes

The security guards are rude sometimes it becomes hard to deal with them because they are elderly
Some teachers are not understanding when it comes to attendance and they just rush to complete the syllabus.
The processing of certain things take time and sometimes the administration is a little layback

Placement Experience:

5th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Good companies did visit the campus and primarily pharmaceuticals and medical scribing were there due to which I did not take a placement because I wasn't interested but for the people who were placements were great also the employability is pretty high in this field.

Chandigarh University honest review

Likes

The infrastructure was really great and the campus was well maintained along with all the necessary facilities like Medical, Banking, ATM, etc
There were students were all the states and from many other countries, the cultural diversity was high
The faculties were very supportive and well informed. They were very professional and friendly.

Dislikes

The labs were not up to the mark and many things were missing or empty. There was not ample stock.
The grievance system was poor. The management did not listen to the students.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements were not very good and the companies did not hire for the course that we did but for other fields like sales, recruitment and other industries. There was no help in the campus placements from the college.

CU Insight

Likes

Hostels are pretty good and infrastructure is also good.
College is green all around with alot of trees.
The faculty teaching and non teaching is decent.

Dislikes

Location was the biggest disappointment.
Security guards are rude and unfriendly.
In DCPD subjects students should have over 90% attendance or they are debarred/detained.

Placement Experience:

Overall the placements in the university are good in the previous years but this time the story is different because of the student strength in the 2022-2026 batch. The placements are going to be there but not sure for howmany students.

The opportunities provided in the college is immense.
All kinds of events happen in college regularly whether it be academics or any extra curricular activities.
The university support your interests and provide you enough opportunities to make a career in you interest as well.

Dislikes

They ask the fee of the next semster before the end of the current semester examination which can be hectic for students.
The faculty of all the courses is not good. In some courses the faculty is lacking.
The management of the university is poor. You have to run from one place to other without any clue of what to do if you face any problem with the higher ups. In short you won't get the full information right away.

Placement Experience:

The companies coming to the college for placements are overwhelmingly positive as of now for the 2021-2025 batch more than 2000 students have been placed and around 1500 Engineering students have been placed. The placement ratio of the college is good and the average package is around 4-4.25 lpa which is quite ok for the fresher. the employability rate of the college is good as the college is quite a renowned private college in India and has a good ranking worldwide. The number of companies visiting this semester is around 200 in just about 6 months and the numbers will increase in the upcoming time. The training sessions have also been given to the students in the University through the DCPD department to the students who are interested in the placements. Proper camps are organized to train students in their aptitude and soft skills.

The exposure they provide for students like me who are interested in fine arts.
The faculties’ behaviour towards their students and their responsibility taking abilities

Dislikes

The timetable is very hectic. We have back to back classes from 9:30 to 4:20.
The teachers are inexperienced which makes it difficult for us to relate with real life experience.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible to participate in campus placements. Students are eligible only if they maintain their 7.5 CGPA. I personally want to pursue masters after completing graduation along with music professionally.

Honest review of my college life.

Likes

The thing I liked the most are the student's behaviour towards each other.
The mentors are very helpful regarding everything even for personal life

Dislikes

The teaching method in CU is poor because of which students don't feel the urge to study.
The CU website is always crashing so the students have to face the consequences.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is fairly relevant to my course; we are taught ballistics, handwriting analysis, fingerprint analysis, photography, psychology etc. The curriculum teach us basics of forensic science in bachelors which is approved by the UGC.

Chandigarh University - A Great College Experience

Likes

I liked the infrastructure of the Law Department I.e UILS. For the first two years we were in an old block
I liked the teachers and the department heads were also w=very supported and helping.
The website and online content provided helped us in tracking our day to day attendance and assignments

Dislikes

I didn't like the security system in college. The guards were disrespectful and not very helpful.
The parking space of students was not provided in college and we had to park on roads and uneven grounds in village surrounding CU.
The detain system i.e if you don't have 75% attendace you need to sit extra one month between semester and give MSTs, assignment

Placement Experience:

In our college student become elgible for placement from 9th semester onwards i.e the second last semester. Many law firms and private companies and banks visit our colege like HDFC bank,HCL and many private firms and offers range from 4LPA to 6LPA. The highest package offered in our department was of 21LPA and average package is 3.5-4LPA. About 50-60% students get campus placements and rest opt for private consultation on out of campus interviews for better oppurtunities. Otherwise CU give gives guarantee they can get 100% placemn=ent of they go through TPA i.e the placement department After getting the degree I aspire to join law firm in my own family and work under the.

Organise many events monthly which enables students to showcase their talents
Overall experience is very good for college

Dislikes

Exams conduct monthly which is good for students but I don't like

The campus placement enable for students from 6th semester and company visits and give offers to them If we talk about no of companies then more than 900 of companies visit and provide placements to students. This information is based on previous year placements

Chandigarh University Adventure

CU was very enthusiastic about study they always encourage you and push you for catching up the opportunities and always gives the chance to upgrade yourself.
The infrastructure was very good according to me as they follow the emergency guidelines and also the room are very broad so it feels comfortable.
Inside the campus you will get everything you want and the security team is also very active which ensures that no indiscipline situations happen.

Dislikes

I would not say that I dislike but you will feel like school type strictness in CU as recently they close the building doors at 9:25 as from 9:30 classes start so you have to be very punctual on time.

Placement Experience:

The placement procedure was very good according to me as they gave extra classes for the placements like soft skill classes and aptitude classes every week which helped me very much to express myself and prepare well for placement and talking about companies from 2nd year onwards companies started comming and everyone can seat in the exams but if you have back papers then they don't allow to seat in placement exams. I got placement in my 4th year in CTS.

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:

Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
The university also offers open & distance learning through CUIDOL and online courses.
As per the latest placement statistics, Chandigarh University Highest International Package stands at INR 1.7 CPA seized by a B.Tech CSE-IBM Information Security student with a US-based company whereas the highest national package stood at INR 54.75 LPA.
