The faculty student ratio good learning experience good teaching and mentorship good good teachers and good environment knowledge so much in teachers good all are good very good so positive environment
I personally benefited from the "merit excellence scholarship" and also secured an on-campus job as a research assistant with a stipend, providing valuable financial support during my studies.
I am confident that i will be able to find a good job after graduation, thanks to the strong relationships that my university has with top companies.

Dislikes

The faculty is not that good. like the teacher i'm provided with are not that good
Scholarships they have this crazy deal there, if you get detained in 1st year in any subject, or reappear in any subject, your scholarship will be gone.
The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now

Behind the gates

Likes

The infrastructure is well designed by the university and it is very safe for everyone,the actions are taken on the prior basis
Events organised by the university is very good as they bring different celebrities.
Beyond studies,the extra co- curricular activities are also great,a different department is there i.e DACA for these activities

Dislikes

Mess food is average it's not as per the expectations
More focus on the theoretical framework rather than coding and practical part
Food is quite expensive in the cantine area

Placement Experience:

Campus provides a variety of placement offers as around 400 companies visit the college Even though I haven't applied yet for any placements but the record of placement in the college is good and almost students are placed some with great packages and some with average package

Campus is very big in 300+ acres and classes are well maintained and spacious equipped with smart boards
Variety of food is available in cafeteria
I got chance to meet students from different cultures and countries

Dislikes

Campus is huge and the tuk tuk guys don’t take students with them
Students are not allowed on the lift you have to go by stairs
Starting year will be hard college timings are 9 to 4

Placement is decent most students gets the job but you have to work for it and you also have to opt for the tpp clases to be able to sit in placement drive Companies like delloit ibm came I want to become a data scientist after this degree

An inside tour of Chandigarh University

Placement Experience:

From semester 7th students gets placement oppurtunities while the internships are sometimes even gievn to 6th semester students. Although the pay pakage of the placements offers which we get are not that satisfying on the year which I am as it is just around 4-8LPA along with some kind of bond which is not considered good pay nowadays.

Likes

Campus is very nice clean and provide friendly environment
Classrooms are very neet and clean and strength is also good
Teacher are very helpful always helps in every field such as research and other personal problems also

Placement Experience:

If we talk about placement many people say there are no placements but it is not true many companies visit this university only the students who have good knowledge about the course get the good placement with a very high package so placements are good here

Well mannered behaviour by faculties of the college
Good infrastructure in the Chandigarh of all time
Easy seems exams and overall placements rate is good

Dislikes

Not having proper facilities inside boys hostel
Not having proper sanitation inside washroom
Ground and floor are so dirty and having bad smell all time

There course and curriculum is now getting old and it's not from years or decades.they have to improve there curriculum according to the new generation or today's life which helps students to get placement

Likes

The college offers very nice placements programmes, and internships for students of all the courses
The faculty and the behaviour of the faculty is very good in terms of academics and general
The best part about the university is the social life which the university offers in the terms of events and the concerts they organise

Dislikes

The campus is very huge. Students have to walk very far if they want to visit some other academic block.
If students face any issue in terms of the fees or in the attendance, there is a long process which takes place and then to solve your issue
There is a compulsion of maintaining 75% attendance, which gets difficult at some point

There are many placement programs which take place in the university. Many companies like Google and Microsoft offers placements to the university and students. Most of the time gets eligible for the placements in their last year because that is the final year and a student who wants a good placement, maintain Attendance of 75 to 80% and CGB of 7.5 every semester.

Likes

The best thing about this college is the faculty. The faculty there is very good. Very understanding. They actually listen to your issue and they try to resolve that at their level best. Also the study there is very good specially the content
Other thing I like about the university is the extra co-activities and events which are being organised by the university. Students actually participate in that events which enhances their social ability and their interaction.
The University also offers amazing placements and internship programmes, which helps student to pursue their career in the best way, also, the placements are very good packages and the students actually availed those placements.

Dislikes

I think which I disliked about the university is their extra fee, which they take. If your attendance is not 75% a student will have to pay a fine of ₹8 to 10,000 to give their exam again. If a student gets detained in a particular subject.
Another thing is a student cannot apply medical leave for less than three days like if you are sick for one or two days, you cannot apply medical leave. You have to apply medical leave for more than three days and up to 10 days.
There are restrictions on the dressing of the students, especially the girls are not allowed to wear short dresses or informal clothes in the college, and the boys are also told to dress up in formals

Placement Experience:

The University offers amazing placements with packages starting from two lakhs per annum to 18 or 50 lakhs per annum. It actually depends upon the courses and how much compatible you are in your academics as well as your extra curricular activities. There are companies which actually comes from a different parts of India with their offers of taking students and enrolling them in their companies. There are special placement programmes and placement workshops which guide students about different companies and different placements which they can get in their last semester. Most probably but there are some companies which takes freshers also from the first year of the second years. the University keep sending such information in the class groups.

Pros and cons of my college

Likes

I personally liked the cleanliness in the campus, even the hostels, they offer good food, maybe not the best, but decent, good food.
There is no ragging in the college, the thing for which i was most afraid of
The overall faculty, not only the teaching ones, all the faculty in the college are cooperative and friendly, which helps a lot to adjust to new environment

Dislikes

The majority is of punjab people in the college and most them are weak in english language as well, which is not a easy task for foreign students
The college is little slow in giving notices and reminders about fee payments,
My own dislike, is not letting boys and girls together in any events, there is always a barricade

Course Curriculum Overview:

The difficulty level of the first semester is medium, it was easy for me, to study just one week before the exams, which gives us chance to attend any events or do any other internships of our own, which is a great help for us in the future, myself i don't really need a placement fron the college, as i want join the defense forces, so for me the course syllabus must be good enough, and i can't talk much about this, because my core subjects have not started yet.

The University is known by the students and not the faculty of the University

Likes

The infrastructure is good and the cleaniness of the university surroundings is well maintained.
The boys and girls ratio is about fifty - fifty percent in a specific course and it various course to course like civil and mechanical courses have less girls ratio.
The curriculum of the course are well maintained and well designed for various to various course and they are designed according to the needs in the future of the industry.

Dislikes

The faculty are biased and they offer marks according to the comfort with the student and not on the capability of various studnents.
The attendance system is strict which give a school vibe and the rules are very strict.

Placement Experience:

The placements depends on the courses as the cse courses give the six to highest fourty five lakh package which was given to a cse branch in the year 2024. The average package is 6 lakh as for the campus placement you should take the TPP course which is your choice . As we see the percentage of students placed are like 2300 students take TPP course and only 1000 only have placements and others are left unplaced.

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:

Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
The university also offers open & distance learning through CUIDOL and online courses.
As per the latest placement statistics, Chandigarh University Highest International Package stands at INR 1.7 CPA seized by a B.Tech CSE-IBM Information Security student with a US-based company whereas the highest national package stood at INR 54.75 LPA.
