The faculty student ratio good learning experience good teaching and mentorship good good teachers and good environment knowledge so much in teachers good all are good very good so positive environment
I personally benefited from the "merit excellence scholarship" and also secured an on-campus job as a research assistant with a stipend, providing valuable financial support during my studies.
I am confident that i will be able to find a good job after graduation, thanks to the strong relationships that my university has with top companies.

Dislikes

The faculty is not that good. like the teacher i'm provided with are not that good
Scholarships they have this crazy deal there, if you get detained in 1st year in any subject, or reappear in any subject, your scholarship will be gone.
The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now

My College(CU) experience.

Likes

I mostly like the events in the college why because of University provides the lot of events on the day
And also I like the teaching and the class rooms
And I like mostly culture of the university

Dislikes

Maximum all students dislikes the food which was providing in the Chandigarh University
I don't like the rooms because of only available 4 or 5 sharing in the university there is not available 1,2,3 sharing
Some restrictions are put this University like don't use mobile phones like this

Placement Experience:

In this campus placements are good and average package also around 9lakhs. If you don't get job on online placements no need to worry about this you can do m tech. Last year around 9k students was selected on placement drive.after completion of the 3rd year b tech you can go to placement interview. Around 900 companies was visited around 9k offers was given on placement drive. Last year highest package is 1.7 cr in international but in india 52 lakhs . Around 97 percentage students was placed in placements drive. I don't have any planes after the degree

GLIMPSE OF CU CAMPUS

Likes

The faculty here is absolutely very supportive and friendly. They guide us like a friend throughout our journey. All of the faculty has done their masters and many of them are pursuing their Phd also. They are very experienced and skilled.
The placement team is very supportive and they guide us throughout the placement processes.
The infrastructure is really a breathtaking factor here .

Dislikes

The departments like accounts or admission cell are very far from each other due to which we have to roam a lot of we want some approval or need some signatures.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for the placements from the 5th sem and they can sit and appear for the placement processes after fulfilling the eligibility criteria for the company. Capgemini, TCS, Deloitte , EPAM, Accenture, Microsoft R&D, Quantify, Alert enterprises and many more are the companies arriving here for placements. The highest package offered till now is 54.2 LPA and the average package is 8LPA . Almost more than 95 percent of the students are placed here. Currently I am also placed and my further plans are working and gaining technical experience.

I like events that happen in university regularly
I am able to meet many celebrities in my clg.
There are a lot of workshop in university.

Dislikes

There is a minimum criteria of 75 percent.
Attendence issue is the major issue of cu.
Teacher give less marks so that scholarship can be removed.

Curriculum of chandigarh University is better than other universities like we have many subject like universal human value and communication skills that help us in improving skills that will be beneficial

Chandigarh University, the pros and cons

Likes

The things i liked about the college are the regular events they organize in order not just make it all about pressured studying but also to get some load off of the students
The campus is quite huge so theres a lot of space for you to hang out
Theres a very diverse crowd and u can find ppl from everywhere in the world

Dislikes

They dont approve of the personal holidays, like medical holidays and event related holidays, even if they do it takes so long to get processed which sometimes is a burden on attendance and exams
The different campuses and how not all the campuses are built together or if they had to be seperate, then at least they should've maintained each campus well
The uploading of online marks related to the experiments that once uploaded, cant be adjusted

Placement Experience:

The placement eligibility semesters vary depending on the course and the total semesters there are in the course so if theres a four year course that is 8 semesters in total so the placement eligibility semester will be the 5th and 6th semesters and if theres a 3 year course that is 6 semesters, then the eligibility for the campus placement would be the 4-5 semesters. The campus is visited by all thr big companies like google, tata, realise, Qualcomm, Microsoft and so on and offer good placements The percentage of students getting a placement varies every year but in general every year is lile 90% placements which is quite okay is u ask me My plans after getting degree are to get a decent placement and work for an year or two then complete my masters

My life in Chandigarh University

Likes

I like infrastructure of the chandigarh university. They really improvised it throughout the year
They have security. Everywhere in the campus has camera and security guards
Libraries of the campus has a lot of book and they open 24 ×7

Dislikes

Hostel time is really bad in winter its 5 pm and in summer its 6 pm for dayout
Some of the faculty is really rude towards the students
Events on the campus has barriers between girls and boys

Placement Experience:

Chandigarh university provided placement in bulk than in every and each field but there are most of the company is based on marketing background but its provide a good package and its also provide other type of placements too

Likes

The portal is quite good can see each detail

Dislikes

The faculty is not too interactive in live classes
We need to mail for small problems to university

Course Curriculum Overview:

interactive sessions must be there.Teaching must contain some hindi as some students are not from english background.Timings for exam is 1:30 hour which is better to give exam in that time as it improve time management

Likes

Food outlets are good here. It has dominos, la pinoz etc
Infrastructure of the D block which is for specialization students
Safety of girls are very good. Girls are safe if they stay in the Hostels

Dislikes

Placements are not good enough we don't what is the selection criteria
Teachers are not good in core cse, you can get only some teachers which have proper knowledge of the subject
Hostel food is the worst at night like you have to eat from outside minimum of 2 days

Placement Experience:

Over the years, placements have grown to be one of the main attributes determining the reputation of my college. The placement process has a well defined structure that starts in the second last year of the course. This is normally in the 6th or 7th semester in case of undergraduate programs. Placements at my college are reachable by students as long as they have reached the minimum level of academic achievement together with some pre placement activities such as career workshops and mock interviews.

Likes

Infrastructure is very well designed for the students.
Events that are organised for the students are very engaging.
Regular training session for the development of the students is conducted.

Dislikes

Management is very poor regarding students queries.
Too much students are admitted that creates difficulties in placements.
Fees for new year students is increasing rapidly.

Placement Experience:

A TPP course is offered by the university for the students who are looking for campus placements . And for those who are looking for higher education University also provides courses for that. I am looking for campus placements after completing my course.

Lots of assignments and homework. Teachers were very strict

Lot of companies come here for placements such as Delloite, Microsoft, byjus, prism RMC, UFLEX. They provide very good packages. Normal student can get placements if he/she pays proper focus on placements.

Campus environment, extra curriculum activities, concerts .
Cafeteria, lush green campus and sports arena.
No of companies visit for campus placement for computer science students.

Dislikes

No of students in computer science branch
MBA and computer science is overcrowded Lot or students due to which it affect the placement
Too much rush when any fest or college function happens

Placement Experience:

The college placements are above average, Like in my batch there are many students got placements of above 10 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs one my friend got 21lpa and another got 14lpa so placements are above averages and best for those who maintain their chap above 8.

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:

Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
The university also offers open & distance learning through CUIDOL and online courses.
As per the latest placement statistics, Chandigarh University Highest International Package stands at INR 1.7 CPA seized by a B.Tech CSE-IBM Information Security student with a US-based company whereas the highest national package stood at INR 54.75 LPA.
