So in BE computer science and engineering you will get to study of c and c++ in your first year which is basic language to work on. You will get the labs of each classes to do practical as well and then your lab mst will be taken. The need for improvement is some teachers are failed to deliver the lecture which causes students dissatisfaction in learning new things Mst are off 1 hour and consists of 20 marks while finals are of 60 marks which have 3 hours of time. For your lab practical you will get 1:30 hours and off 15 and 40 marks. Paper's are off moderate level

Fees and Financial Aid

Currently I'm paying 106000 per semester with additional 2000 as examination fee and you have to pay security of 2000 as well. The fees is increasing every year but not for us for the new batches . You will get scholarship based on your 12 th board percentage or based on the entrance paper which is taken by the college. If you have 90 percentage in your 12th you will get 50 percent scholarship and If you score good marks in entrance paper you will get upto 90 percent scholarship.

Campus Life

So there are multiple fest you will get to see in University you will get freshers, you will get flash mobs as well and many of celebrities come over there for promotion as well so there are lot of fest, and cultural fest is also there in which students represent their culture as well like haryana diwas , Himachal diwas as well. University provides good library which are well maintained and have a lot of books there to read and you can issue as well. Even there is also online portal where you can find journal and research papers as well In classroom you will get projector and ac as well. The sports complex is decent you will get cricket ground badminton court basketball court as well and many more. Raging is completely ban here and there is also clubs for anti ragging as well

Admission

I also applied on other colleges as well but didn't get admission due to my low jee percentile and in some of the colleges I didn't clear the entrance test as well. While in my college I cleared the entrance paper and I also got scholarship of 50 percent because of my 12th board percentage. The admission process is simple you have to do online registration by filling up your necessary details than you have to give entrance paper and you should atleast scite 30 percent to pass in the exam. After qualifying this you have to pay some amount of fee to confirm your seat and then after some days you will get you college id and password to access your college account Atlast you have to come University for your final registration

Faculty

So the faculty is not that good only few are good who has knowledge about the respective subjects.if you communicate with the facilities they will guide you .one of the faculty I like is basker sir because the way of teaching is very good and understanding and they approach every student.one of the best faculty of mathematics, and also swagat sir which is also very good same as basker sir There is one faculty which is didn't like is sunit goel sir which is very rude to students and the way of teaching is also not good. So there are total 3 exams 2 mst which is theory based and on practical basis there are 2 lab mst in which practical exams are conducted. So mostly students pass the exams only there are few of them which are not able to qualify. There are few subjects which are not relevant like bio you have to study in 1st sem and evm also and lsm also There are internal and external Internal consist of 70 marks and external is off 30 marks for hybrid subject And 60:40 ratio for theory based subject

Night Life

3

So after all the classes you can go anywhere inside the campus there are many places like fountain garden, south campus, cafes are there there are many shops for eat and you will get garden anywhere. In evening girls timing are 8pm and boys timing is 10pm.(hostel timing). Locality is not as safe for girls because there is some cases in previous which is not good to roam around at night

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.
