Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is upto the mark but the syllabus is comparatively more as students get less time to prepare before the tests starts. For example they'll give you 100 articles from the constitution for one unit and you've to cram it in less than a month.

Internships Opportunities

5

The training and placement cell even the university career management cell helps students to find and apply for internships in the local area and also in their hometown. They guide you how to go about your internship and are very helpful to solve any doubt of yours. You can always ask for internship assistance from them as they provide a list of internship openings.

Placement Experience

5

The placements offered by the college for other courses such as cse are much higher than law as this college is known for engineering rather than law. But the packages offered for law students are also good as compared to other private universities. The companies for placement drives increase every year so it's a win.

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is a 10 semester degree, every semester the fees has to be paid. Sem fee is 90,000 including tution and examination fee. Hostel, transport and other facilities have other fee criteria. Upto 100% scholarship can be availed through cucet exam. 7.5 cgpa and 75% attendance in every subject is compulsory to continue the scholarship. The complete course fee that I will be paying is 8,60,000. It is increasing for every new batch.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is wh you're gonna enjoy the most, talking about the infrastructure, the libraries are so beautiful that you will want to sit and actually study in there. The architecture of the blocks is mind blowing, especially the south campus and their cafeteria is aesthetic. You'll find people from allover India and even abroad so you can socialize easily, people here are very humble and friendly. CU has many clubs, one of them is DACA, here people volunteer for organising events, you'll learn a lot and build connections here that would benefit in the long run.

Admission

I opted for this college coz of the variety of activities included here. They provide you with internship guidance, placement assistance, soft skills classes, moot courts, youth parliament (a very interesting concept) and many more things that can add upto your cv. It has so many clubs that you can join to pursue your hobby such as modeling, dance, theatre, singing, photography etc. Also the new heights CU is reaching made me apply for the admission. The admission process is quite simple, you've to give a scholarship test, get selected, avail scholarship, pay the fees and you're on board.

Faculty

4

Some of the faculty is pretty good, you just have to be known enough in the department that if you reach out to them for assistance they can help you. Exam pattern is just like any school, there's two mid sem tests and one end sem exam in every semester. Assignments, discussion forums, surprise test and msts are included in the internal marks.

Night Life

5

The nightlife is amazing, the beautiful gardens highlighted with pretty night lights, fountain area, the whole campus is beautiful even in the night. The campus is guarded by security guards at every corner so there's no fear of any mishap. Some of the shops are open past curfew timings, even the library is open till 10pm so that students can study comfortably.

Around 60% students only gets direct placements from our college as ratio I hope gets better because as a top tier NLU i still feel the placements are still not that great. I hope that by the time our time comes ratio is 100% because after the judgement of 3 years practice for judiciary, I think it is inevitable to have a job.

Khaitan & Co., Maheshwari and Co and likewise many such companies came for placements as it's the law firm that provides us placements and give good salary like 50-70k in general. However, internships matters a lot as most students performance at their internships are reviewed thoroughly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college is highly affordable with not much hike in the fees over the past years. It is quite near to my house and within the city. The college provides hostel facilities and bus pass to students travelling from far The course makes you legal literate and aware of the legal world . With 15-20days of internship in district court in last 2 years of the college it shows the reality of the court life. No placement- The college should provide information along with opportunities of placements. The campus being quite small - Teacher easily focuses on each student . Semester system- The university conducts exams every 6months yhat are quite easy to clear.
