RGUNL is really good!!

Legal field is a research thing and because it is that, it is exciting. Unless and until something is exciting, I don't think, it would have made any sense to me. I love the fact that our college has proper research centers and this is why our course is perfect to give us everything and learn all the skills that a law student should possess.

Around 60% students only gets direct placements from our college as ratio I hope gets better because as a top tier NLU i still feel the placements are still not that great. I hope that by the time our time comes ratio is 100% because after the judgement of 3 years practice for judiciary, I think it is inevitable to have a job.

RGNUL Patiala is among one of the NLUs and is the only one in Punjab as most states have multiple NLUs these days. Fees at our university is 270k a year and is increased every year. Scholarships programs are there at the university as needy students do get scholarships from the college.

RGUNL is a residential university like every other NLU and the campus stretches to 50 acres. We have 2 academic blocks and 6 hostels and sports facilities which are quality as a lot of them have been installed lately. Solar panels used to produce electricity which is consumed at the campus. Our fests and all are also exceptional.

Mine is a two seater room and it is perfect sized but have to use common washrooms as each floor has that. However, even in girls hostels the washrooms are common. Mess is common for boys and girls and in time is 10 pm for both boys and girls at the campus.

I didn't applied for colleges other than NLUs as last year I didn't got admission at NLUs so I took a drop. This year I got 1100 rank and RGUNL was possibly the best option in that. Admissions in NLUs are based on score that we get in CLAT.

Deepak Nahata is probably the one whom I look upto as he is a research expert and I want my education with some researches on. So therefore I think our faculties are quite crucial and I am certain will shape our career well for future.

The Qila Mubarak Campus, Baradari Garden, Kali Temple, Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib and all are places to explore. Also Patialauseum is nearby and my favourite pe rather everyone in the campus do go to Jassi Tea Centre which is close to our campus.
