Scholarships were available to students who scored first few ranks in the entrance exams, which were a great deal of help to them also, there are internships available through our mentors which is of great help.
Faculty are very good they teach well and they are very experienced with experience of 20 years, and fests happens every month and facilities are very good here like gym gardens library etc and place is very good
There are so many clubs like dance club, science club, maths club, etc and main beauty of the campus are very green and freedom of entry and exit anytime.

Dislikes

Firstly conduction of the entrance was very poor by nta.
At last the canteens. the foods of the canteens are ok but sometimes it too worst
I had a plan to do phd too but due to the academic stress and low facilities that this university is providing, i started to lose my interest on the subject.

Likes

The atmosphere and its people are great.
The facilities are great, though the roads need maintenance
Friendly for people who are physically challenged

Dislikes

The mess food quality is not that great.
The bus are overly crowded due to its low numbers.
Food from shops within the university area are pricey

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is very relevant and prepares us for real world applications and further academic pursuits. The course deals with literary theory, criticism, literary history, linguistics as well as American literature and Indian writing in English.

About the campus. Green campus, students friendly somehow, we are having problems with transportation,
Really have a good opportunity to interact with students from different background
Professors are good at teaching, nice way of presentation and teaching

Dislikes

Having no basic facilities like sanitary napkin incinerators
Roads are not well maintained, no public toilet for a sudden use
Difficulty in transportation during peak times of acadamics

Course Curriculum Overview:

For us we are NEP batch although i took political science for my ug i have to learn other disciplines from science stream, for me its a good decision and the teachers who taught these subjects started from basics.

Nature friendly ,no pollutikn zone ,more greenary
Even foreign students study in our college .we can make many cultural and social interactions
Teaching is outstanding and they also use digital classes

Dislikes

Students didn't utilize the environment .they mostly prefer air conditioner
Alcoholism and gutka usage by students affects others
Scholars interfere in classes and partiality

Course Curriculum Overview:

It depends on the understanding level of students.even the timetable is according to students opinion its goes very well.mostly surprise tests were conducted weekly once and two internals were conducted in 2 months even open book exam play crucial role in our daily base of classes.

A vibrant campus of PU

Amazing campus experience and infrastructure
Highly qualified teachers who helps us to mentally prepare for the outside world
Teaching not limited to academics but also an experience

Dislikes

Canteen food should be improved.

Placement Experience:

For us English students, campus placements start in the final semester. But for the other courses, it starts from second semester itself. About 70% of students get placed from the university with good packages.

A unique experience in Pondicherry University

Likes

Good supportive faculty members in department
Nice campus with 24 hour connectivity and wifi
Good library with reading room working from 6 am to 3 am

Dislikes

Less transportation facilities inside the university
Average food provided by the mess most of the days
Some rude securities who always ask id cards everytime

Syllabus of the course is highly competitive exam oriented like NET,GATE exams. Syllabus is easily understandable and couse structure is highly efficient. Exams will be conducted by department itself and result will be published within one month

Placements are there but I'm not interested. I have to find my own . Most ofthe time like ... choosing abroad and finding good company to work. I have no idea till now abot percentage of students getting placement.

Facultys are also friendly (not everybody)
Infrastructure is also good and beautiful campus

Mess food is one of the thing that you will be concerned
Administration is very poor that you will have to walk a lot for simple work

A Great experience

Likes

Class room environment it was because we get the friends form different parts of the country
In University we are have the easy access to the beach and it was just 100 meters and we can go easily
Professors are very good persons and they will help us in difficult situations

Dislikes

Politics in the university is disliked by me
Some how we can face the language problem
The quality of the food is not good in some days

I Have complited my MBA from Distance in year 2021 but i received mu mark sheet and certificate with wrone name. Insted of my name they have put my father's name. So even after sending mails of like 26 times and sending DD of Rs 1100/- they have not done anything and there is no reply in mail and no one oiks up the call. I am so frustrated and loosing hope. I really dont know when this will be corrected..
