Likes

About the campus. Green campus, students friendly somehow, we are having problems with transportation,
Really have a good opportunity to interact with students from different background
Professors are good at teaching, nice way of presentation and teaching

Dislikes

Having no basic facilities like sanitary napkin incinerators
Roads are not well maintained, no public toilet for a sudden use
Difficulty in transportation during peak times of acadamics

Course Curriculum Overview

For us we are NEP batch although i took political science for my ug i have to learn other disciplines from science stream, for me its a good decision and the teachers who taught these subjects started from basics.

Class Size: 32Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

1st year 36000 2nd year 9900 Same for everyone Don't know about others. Merit cum scholarship Scholarship for sc and st Scholarship for students from their own states Sc and ST students have hostel fee concession. Hostel fee concession for girls

Campus Life

Onam, Holi we celebrate all festival's because of the diversity in our university. For library, sincerely not students friendly can't accomodate more than 1000 students. For computer lab and all good. Wifi is not available on all places.

Hostel Facilities

For hostel room it is only meant for 2 people but they allow 3.difficulty in storing clothes and others because of lack of wardrobes. For mess hall food is not that good. No quality, and sometimes we get spiders and worms from there.

Admission

Central university of TN Central university of Hydrabad Central university of keralam Student friendly campus,no difficulty in transportation. For getting admission you have to write CUET exam and need to get good marks

Faculty

In our class i think 30 out of 4, teachers are well at their own field, nice way of presentation, they have deep knowledge on their own field, about exams not that difficulty if you study well, techers are good with students

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my course we are learning a lot of theory papers like cultural studies , gender and queer studies , subartern studies , critical approches to theories and so on. Even in the thrid sem i had a project of translation under one of the best facutly in our department. This strengthens my resume. These syllabus are really helpful to participate clear competetive exams like ugc net . We had a lot of questions from our syllabus in the previous exam. To tell about the exam , timing is 3 hour for every paper. We dont have any practicals or labs. Paper inclues 2 marks , 5 marks and 15 marks.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements after their second semester. That is when recruiter officers approach students for their interest and interviews. Amazon is one of the main recruiters. The average package is 5lpa starting. 40% get placed. My plans are to pursue a PhD after my master's.

Pondicherry University is recognised by the UGC and is accredited with an grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
