Pondicherry University's Review

In my course we are learning a lot of theory papers like cultural studies , gender and queer studies , subartern studies , critical approches to theories and so on. Even in the thrid sem i had a project of translation under one of the best facutly in our department. This strengthens my resume. These syllabus are really helpful to participate clear competetive exams like ugc net . We had a lot of questions from our syllabus in the previous exam. To tell about the exam , timing is 3 hour for every paper. We dont have any practicals or labs. Paper inclues 2 marks , 5 marks and 15 marks.

This is only the course fee of M.A courses in Pondicherry university including lab and so on First year - 1 st sem ( odd) - 19,042 First year - 2 nd sem ( even) - 1700 Second year - 3rd sem ( odd) - 9,700 Second year - 4 th sem ( even) -1700

In this university all the programmes and function are conducted and managed only by tge students with professors guidance. We will conduct functions to celebrate our festivals. All students are participating in every functions without hestitation of religious belief. The range of books and journals accessibilty is good. We have a big seperate library with seprate sections. Every classrooms have smart board. Sports are hugely supported by this university. There are lot of clubs like dance , music , queer and so on.

Hostel are very clean. The cleaners will come 4 days per week. They will clean every corner of the hostel. The allocated rooms are our respomsibility. We have to keep it clean. The mess food is good. But sometimes we dont like the menu and the taste of that food. We can take any pg near to our university. PG and rental homes also available near to our university.

Getting admission in pondicherry university is my dream. I got it . We have to appear in CUET PG which is conducted by NTA in every year. In that we have to take good marks. Here seat will be allocated according to category like general , OBC , SC , EWS and differently abled. The cut off will change every year according the level of question paper. They will release three lists of selected students with certain time period. It is the common process for all the central university . After completing the cuet , we have to apply and register for the unuversities we like. If the list got our name means, we can go to university directly and submit the originals that they mentioned and pay the fee and get admission. I have applied for Central University of Andhra Pradesh and Pondicherry University. I got in both universities without rejection. I first got admission in Andhra pradesh. Later , i changed my mind when i got admission in Pondicherry University. It was a worth decision in my life.

We are 2 batches . Per batch nearly 70 students. We have 5 faculty for each batch. The faculty members are doctrates . Their teaching will be a good meal for our brain. We have 20 papers. Per sem we have 5 papers.

Campus interviews are also here. University also pays attention to placements. For our course , we had a lot of interviews. As i am not intrested, i didnt attend any of that. But my friends told that was amazing experience.

Here in this university , gym is available for both boys and girls seperately. Its near to their hostels. Library also available. To tell about the night life of Pondicherry University, it is one of the most enjoyable thing in pondicherry university. The sun rise and sun set. Pondicherry university is near to beach.
