campus and the surroundings, good place to spend

Course Curriculum Overview

The decision to choose this area to go abroad and also broad range of opportunities are there but not aware. The academic not helping that much but need to improve much more. Teaching method is neutral nothing new . Not at all changed ..like school way .

Placement Experience

Placements are there but I'm not interested. I have to find my own . Most ofthe time like ... choosing abroad and finding good company to work. I have no idea till now abot percentage of students getting placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not that much idea about scholarships . The fees are really high . Not all students can afford. There are lot of area to improve and need to focus on each students for their betterment. I have no idea about stipends and all.

Campus Life

It's really superb and fun . Nothing can beat this pondicherry University campus life . Most of the students preferring this college for campus life and their clubs and all . There are lot of opportunities.

Hostel Facilities

Average hostel facilities and the food really bad due to insects and all . Not at all aware of that. The contract that now taken by people is so poor hygiene. Hosteis fine but mess food affordablity not that much good.

Hostel Fee: INR 17000 per year

Admission

I written CUET entrance test. I don't remember exactly ???? the cut off . Eligibility after ug . You can find the application form through Pondicherry University college website. I got OBC puducherry reservation. Process and perspective not that much ok. They have to improve transportation inside the university.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my course we are learning a lot of theory papers like cultural studies , gender and queer studies , subartern studies , critical approches to theories and so on. Even in the thrid sem i had a project of translation under one of the best facutly in our department. This strengthens my resume. These syllabus are really helpful to participate clear competetive exams like ugc net . We had a lot of questions from our syllabus in the previous exam. To tell about the exam , timing is 3 hour for every paper. We dont have any practicals or labs. Paper inclues 2 marks , 5 marks and 15 marks.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements after their second semester. That is when recruiter officers approach students for their interest and interviews. Amazon is one of the main recruiters. The average package is 5lpa starting. 40% get placed. My plans are to pursue a PhD after my master's.

Pondicherry University is recognised by the UGC and is accredited with an grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). After completing my graduation in B.B.A, I was looking for good colleges for MBA. One of my college professors told me about Pondicherry University, Puducherry.
