The course can be named satisfactory but still have some more work to do in syllabus. Half of the materials that we learn is not updated. And many stuff that we study now are not required in the field.

For History, there is no campus placements. But for departments such as MBA, Mcom, and other science programs campus placements are there. Students become eligible for the campus placements at the 4th semester. About 20 to 30 percent student are eligible for campus placements. My plan after getting the masters is to appear for the UPSC Examination.

I choosed MA History in Pondicherry university. This was an the favourite subject in my filed. I would be like to be an history teacher. My teacher influenced to be for that. If you get NET and JRF would be along with MA it has to helps to save your academic career and future. To study this subject there was an difficulties also there. The teachers will be give an the good direction for to be achieve the academic improvement and they also helps us to be any time for our better future. I will give to 10/8 for to the department and faculties. There was to be conducting mainly two exams in every or each semester. If you are prepare well you will get to the top score in history.

Pondicherry University is among those Universities which provide Anthropology to students belonging to all subject backgrounds. Minimum intake is 45 students and may vary depending on the new curriculum made. Choosing Anthropology has really been an advantage as students get to study human in a holistic perspective covering wide variety of subjects. Choice based credit system is followed and with the NEP there has been new subjects introduced to this field. Students get to work in field in final semester which is field work and are supposed to finish their dessertation upon the same along with viva. There's no much difficulty faced during examination as everything taught in class is asked in exams.

In pondicherry University more than 10 plus course provides the placement oppertunity . Mostly the MBA MCOM department have the biggest placement opportunities in one course more than 60 students get the opportunity

The main aspect influenced me is that sociology tries to understand what is happening in the society. The curriculum gives a theoratical idea of how our society got changed to the current scenario. I will suggest as an improvement that the teaching method should have a more practical method. In my opinion the timing given for the exam is perfect.

The curriculum revolves around socio-cultural anthropology and the final semester would be the area where you would get an idea on how the real world would be. A more emphasis on physical anthropology is needed here

I went through the syllabus of anthropology which I liked the most and had some idea about this background,hence I opt for this masters The curriculum is decent but I would rather suggest to go for better place for the course There is a room for improvement of course when it comes to the curriculum and lab needs to be operational

I've always been interested in the course so I chose it when I got the chance. The syllabus should be a little more technology integrated and updated on some levels as some things that are taught to not have real world applications in most cases. The frequency and timing of the exams are good in this department. The internals are once in a month and finishes in a week.
