Scholarships were available to students who scored first few ranks in the entrance exams, which were a great deal of help to them also, there are internships available through our mentors which is of great help.
Faculty are very good they teach well and they are very experienced with experience of 20 years, and fests happens every month and facilities are very good here like gym gardens library etc and place is very good
There are so many clubs like dance club, science club, maths club, etc and main beauty of the campus are very green and freedom of entry and exit anytime.

Dislikes

Firstly conduction of the entrance was very poor by nta.
At last the canteens. the foods of the canteens are ok but sometimes it too worst
I had a plan to do phd too but due to the academic stress and low facilities that this university is providing, i started to lose my interest on the subject.

Jipmer- A hub of services and oppurtunities

Likes

Library facilities ,Reading room facilities ,Academical output,faculties ,football coaching
Academical activities like quizzes ,exhibition ,debates
Sports activities like hostel premier league ,championships etc

Dislikes

Lack of more cultural activities and programmes
Lack of gym and other physical care facilities
Lack of JIPMER hospital and other hospital facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jipmer is not following national medical councelling. Except second year,others are for a period of one year. Forensic medicine is included in second year, so it is for a period of 1year and 6months. Classroom lectures are helpful. Jipmer follows standard textbooks . There will be internal assessments , sendups and university examinations. There will be 3 or 4 or 6 internals in different years. They provide standard question paper with moderate level of difficulty.

Academics, professors, facilities especially hostel and academic facilities,
Hostel and academic building is on same campus. Walkable distance
Academics is like 3 or 4 or 5 internal exams in a year and model exam and finally public exam. Its like 40percentage internal + model and 60percentage finaln

Dislikes

Extra curricular activities. Proper ground is not there
No basketball court, tennis court, futsal, badminton
Hosptal is not there. We are going for clinicals in government hospital karaikal

Course Curriculum Overview:

Here in jipmer, they are not following exactly what national medical council follows. Jipmer syllabus and exam pattern is slight different. Here in second year itself we are studying forensic medicine and duration for second year is one half years.

Life of college

Likes

Especially our department faculty is so friendly and response from them is so nice and supportive.
There the social interaction is very good. Campus life is very peaceful with friends and all other departments people.
University gives us hope about the future. We can get good guidance from lectures and other departments friends.

Dislikes

I don't like transportation and mess here.we won't get buses at correct time and mess food is not hygiene
I don't like the outing timings in the campus.Here students roam anytime in the night.
Here there is no placements for the students. Some department they will get placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is good . But I think it need to improve for the best of students. There most of lecturers they just go with the slides what they prepared they won't explain them in proper way. and also for the exams they won't tells us the timings correctly they make it to get chance according to their wish.

My College Life

The environment of the college was Too good which is Suitable to study peacefully and the Library and reading room hours are Super efficient to Students, and yes we learnt many Things from this university like how we have to accept future in hard tym
The college infrastructure was too good where evrything is available here like based on different departments we have to perform different labs and it provided. every lab with all needs which could help students to perform practically, was helpfull
The interaction with Faculty was too good and the faculty responses and their guidance about future was too helpful for students and their teaching which is helpful for our knowledge was really good. Their encouragement towards students plans r good

Dislikes

Actually the department which I'm Studying is not sufficient for lab practicals where the Building is old one and even we have some of our equipments out side of the department.
The construction of the new building of the department of food Science and technology slow if it completed early it will really helpful for students ☺️
As of now our department food Science and technology didn't offer any placements if it offer placements it is good for students life's .

The course is too good and also which Have many Opportunities in future in the food industries and also hospitals and in everything because the actual need for every people to live is food for their basic works.

You can get different exposure here as most of the students will come from different parts of the country
Lost of culturals will happen throughout the year
Here they will give equal importance to sports activities

Dislikes

Some of the departments don't have any placement

Placement Experience:

For Mba tourism and travel management, surely there will be placement. 90 to 95% students will be placed every year. Don't look for high packages. By employing in their company for 2 or 3 years you can n number of knowledge about industry and you can survive by creating your own business

The Campus Is Almost 900 Acres, Has A Huge Campus And Good Atmosphere.
Eco Friendly Campus, Well Facilitated Library And Reading Room
Good Syllabus and Good Classrooms. Small Stalls Also Available in The Campus Premises

Dislikes

Mess Food is Poor. Transport Services Are Not Much Effective. Roads are of Bad quality

Exams Are Held On Time. Moderate Difficulty. Well Updated acdemic system results Are Published Within 2 Weeks. Exams are Conducted Only From The syllabus from which what we Are Taught.Exam is Conducted in a 3hr Duration.

It's a green campus around 900 acres. From my experience the department of psychology is good. We have experienced facilities. For me the department helped me in my personal growth. The class timings are till noon . It's very easy to score good marks
The syllabus is revised and updated. We have two internship one in summer and one during 4th semester. 4th semester is completely free only internship and desseration.
The campus is student friendly. The library and reading room is very helpful for the students.

Dislikes

The main problem in the campus is transportation. The transportation through the university is limited and there is enough facilities. All the buses crowded it's very dangerous.
The food quality is very bad in the hostel mess. Most of the time the food will be half cooked or salty. Two tea shops opened till midnight in the university, but it's very expensive
The administration is not providing enough facilities to the students. There is no summer vacations. This time we only got 1 week summer vaccinatio.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus was updated on 2019. The course is more application level. The exams are conducted in proper manner. We will get the result within one week. The semester are only 3 months it's hectic for the students and teachers.

Live Laugh Love at Pondicherry University

Architectural facilities and the natural beauty of the campus with its diverse flora and fauna.
The people at the university are so helpful especially at the time of admission processes and other programs and festivities.
The teaching style of the professors indulge interest in you even if you were totally unaware of geology before. They are available in the department for your doubt clearances and the facilities at the department are numerous.

Dislikes

The staffs at the hostel office and mess are a bit unfriendly at times and securities at night too considering the fact that there is no curfew.
Bathroom hygiene is a bit on the worser side but its mostly because of the dogs that come inside the hostel and make a mess when the gate is left open.

Placement Experience:

There are campus placements and the average package is around 5 lakhs per annum. The students getting placements are low here from my observation and I think it would be better to go for higher studies or get jobs from outside. There are however many famous companies that come here.

As in my college all the faculties are very much engaged with students for making them study very well aslo they use yo help everyone for any of the issues.
As in every where sports day is conducted and in our college its too good to participate in it.
Campus is too good and beautiful as for good nature for studying over there

Dislikes

Cleanliness of college in some of area as for dumping the wastes.
Some students are not well matured as they are using bad languages in college campus
I have seen that there is in some minor facilities are not available for the science students for their practical exam.

As i have choosen the course of BSC zoology so in this field academic studies is good but for the trip of knowing the outer world of nature its not been happened from the side college and not at any other curriculum activities is taking up.

The College is very good and the faculties are good at teaching.
The campus is big and have own ground for sports
The infrastructure is not good but is developing the infrastructure.

Dislikes

Sometime the faculties are didn't come at the right time
In two -three years Examination held in summer vacation..We didn't get the full vacation.
The infrastructure is not good..we have the wooden classes ... Toilets are not cleaned in time

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course help me to gain knowledge about the world politics and Indian politics. The teaching method are not that good but it have to improve by making practical teaching.. In past 2-3 years the exam not held in the right time

I Have complited my MBA from Distance in year 2021 but i received mu mark sheet and certificate with wrone name. Insted of my name they have put my father's name. So even after sending mails of like 26 times and sending DD of Rs 1100/- they have not done anything and there is no reply in mail and no one oiks up the call. I am so frustrated and loosing hope. I really dont know when this will be corrected..
