in my opinion the coarse curriculum at pu is highly relavant and comprehensive . it covers a wide range of topics pertinent to the field of food science including food chemistry , microbiology, processing technology , nutrition and quality control . the curriculum is designed to provide students with a solid fiundation of knowledge and practical skill in industry
I chose an MSc in FOOD SCIENCE AND NUTRITION at Pondicherry University. This university provides a variety of subjects that will benefit identity and interaction with various opportunities in industries and various other food science branches. The will course provide practical-oriented subjects that will help you in the future. The food science sector is improving branch because of that course should be updated frequently. The course duration is 2 years including 4 semesters. Yearly two semester examinations conducted Odd semester examinations and Even semester examinations. Odd semester examinations are mostly conducted before December and Even semester examinations are conducted mostly before May month.

The course contains significant information on using food science and technologies while primarily focusing on practical knowledge. The faculty: student ratio is approximately 1:30, but in technology, it is 1:20. While the faculties are highly experienced in their respective fields, they all try to provide as much practical knowledge in comparison with theoretical classes. This is considered significant for associating the faculties to bond with their students, which makes it enjoyable for the students to understand the context. The academic calendars are published by the department at the initial stage of the semester which provide information on tentative dates of exam and assignment submission. These are properly followed in the University. However, it is important to follow regular classes, making the exams easier. Following regular classes increases the chance of passing the exam for the students.
We paid 23,000 for 1st semester and 4000 for 2nd semester. As a central university the fee is little high in our College. But compared to MBA courses fee it is lesser than that because they pay around 66,000
