Likes

Scholarships were available to students who scored first few ranks in the entrance exams, which were a great deal of help to them also, there are internships available through our mentors which is of great help.
Faculty are very good they teach well and they are very experienced with experience of 20 years, and fests happens every month and facilities are very good here like gym gardens library etc and place is very good
There are so many clubs like dance club, science club, maths club, etc and main beauty of the campus are very green and freedom of entry and exit anytime.

Dislikes

Firstly conduction of the entrance was very poor by nta.
At last the canteens. the foods of the canteens are ok but sometimes it too worst
I had a plan to do phd too but due to the academic stress and low facilities that this university is providing, i started to lose my interest on the subject.

I liked the staff here in our department the most and the grounds and the stadiums facilities
I liked the library and reading hall for reading and preparing for the examinations or any competative exams
I liked the canteens over here a lot and the atmosphere here is very good for the students to prepare for their future

Dislikes

The first thing I disliked here is the mess food and the mess services here.The food is very worse here.
The medical services here is very worst , there's no proper medical facilities for the students and there's no proper ambulance too
There's a lack of buses in the campus. The students suffer a lot to go to the colleges

Placement Experience:

I don't know that much about the placements of our university because our department doesn't have any placements. The placements will be provided in the management and the commerce departments. Rather than other ones

Likes

The university's social life is overall good and the location of the university is in a tourist place so it gives a good learning and travelling balance .
The university's faculties are well experienced and highly educated.
The university is open 24 hours and the girls have the same freedom as boys.

Dislikes

The roads are in a very bad condition and it is not being repaired although the road has been very since so long .
Lack of hostels . Due tk lack of hostel 3 students are forced to stay in 2 seater rooms .
The mess food quality is very bad . It doesn't meet the basic nutrition a person need per day

Placement Experience:

The semester students becomes eligible for campus placements only after their final year. There is no companies that comes for offers and placements . The highest package someone has got is 200000 rupees . There are not many students that gets placements.only 20 percent of the students gets placement.

I expected a smooth way of studying of my course
In engagement with campus this campus is like a heaven
Although there are placements but comparatively this university having less

Dislikes

Mess food and the way of taking lectures
The worst thing transportation facilities inside the campus
Unexpectedly i got the honours courses didn't wanted

Placement Experience:

Placements are for most of MBA, Mcom students than other departments although placements are there but it is comparatively less than other universities but the companies approaching our college is good

Good university and good people

Likes

The univeristy is providing freedom to express thoughts.no harsh rules is there.
Here theres no ragging which is a very good thing.seniors are very friendly.
The teachers present bere are very experienced.they are teaching in a very good manner.

Dislikes

The college is not assuring any placement .
The campus roads are maintained in a very bad manner.accidents often happen here.
Mess food is not appetizing and kind of repeating

My course has reputation in this field and professors are very qualified and there are good scopes the labs should me more equipped and check the understaff of department and exams are moderate to hard and practicals are tough

My View from my experience

Likes

Infrastructure Facilities are good.Hostels are comparatively neat and clean.
Nice environment for studying and for other enjoyments
Extra curricular activities are also supported verymuch

Dislikes

There is a lack of faculties in my department.
The climate of the place that the University is situated is kit comfortable for me
Lack of arrangements of facilities in departments

Our course curriculum is comparatively good but there is a problem in the execution of that curriculum, lack of facilities is an issue.it could be saloved by appointing more faculties and by hearing the problems form the students who are experiencing

Dedicated highly qualified and interactive faculty
Good infrastructure and campus life with max freedom
Inclusive campus and also has a huge library and scholarship opportunities

Dislikes

Management is vey slow in resolving issues
Shortage of staff in both faculty and administrative positions
Mess food taste is not good at all and menu is too repititive

Placement Experience:

Placements are less in humanities courses than compared to science departments social science students get placed in social work and think tank orgs whereas science students get placed in research and tech orgs average package is around 5-6 lakhs and highest packages are 9-10 lakhs

Pondicherry university : its good and bad

Likes

Experienced dedicated interactive and friendly faculty.
Good hostel and department infrastructure.Huge library and reading rooms
Good internship and placement opportunities.More focus on research based learning

Dislikes

University management is slow and each issue takes huge time to be addressed
Staff shortage in faculty as well as administrative positions
Taste of mess food is not up to the standards.

Placement Experience:

Our dept (politics and international relations) offer less placements from other engineering or management departments still many tech and social work companies come and offer pacakages approx 5-7 lakh to recruit students hightest packages are around 10 lakhs I plan to do further research in this field after my undergrad

Good University with average administration

Likes

Freedom and night life and diversity of campus
Cultural programs and annual fests happening every month
Freedom to roam around and go outside whenever u want and come

Dislikes

Understaff departents lead to delay of classes
Management and administration can be tricky to handle
Mess food is not so good and shops are too far and inside canteens are expensive

Placements are less in our department mostly management and computer science department get placement but u can appear for placement and you have to study for urself and teachers will be helping you for ur placement

Likes

I appreciate the vollge infrastructure but it didn't complete
The teachers are good but sometime they are like mentals
The buildings are ok and canteens are ok

Dislikes

The class is not sufficient they did not have sufficient class
The canteens food is not proper so that can br improved
The staff in the admin is not cooperative

Placement Experience:

There is placements in my college but not great only some companies come for placement so not many will get he job. I am trying to study for next mtech and then i will search for the job and i will make my family proud

Pondicherry university the place for diversity and calmness

Likes

The diversity is good here most of students are with liberal mindset and welcoming
Infrastructure is good and campus and secure and very vast
The girls and boys both have good interaction in campus very less boundation by administration and hostels are good

Dislikes

Many departments are understaff which lead to delay in classes
Because of the size of university u have to walk a lot
Mess food is sometimes below average and without taste

Placement Experience:

Usually 10th 10th-semester students are eligible for placements but most of the students exit with a ba degree in the 6th semester to pursue a master's in a different course and phd and the last batch did not attend the placement because most of them went abroad for a master's.

I Have complited my MBA from Distance in year 2021 but i received mu mark sheet and certificate with wrone name. Insted of my name they have put my father's name. So even after sending mails of like 26 times and sending DD of Rs 1100/- they have not done anything and there is no reply in mail and no one oiks up the call. I am so frustrated and loosing hope. I really dont know when this will be corrected..
