Likes

Scholarships were available to students who scored first few ranks in the entrance exams, which were a great deal of help to them also, there are internships available through our mentors which is of great help.
Faculty are very good they teach well and they are very experienced with experience of 20 years, and fests happens every month and facilities are very good here like gym gardens library etc and place is very good
There are so many clubs like dance club, science club, maths club, etc and main beauty of the campus are very green and freedom of entry and exit anytime.

Dislikes

Firstly conduction of the entrance was very poor by nta.
At last the canteens. the foods of the canteens are ok but sometimes it too worst
I had a plan to do phd too but due to the academic stress and low facilities that this university is providing, i started to lose my interest on the subject.

Pondicherry University despite its academic excellence and diverse excellence and diverse curriculum has several drawback including slow administrative work.

I would rate the M.Ed course curriculum as highly relevant and comprehensive , with a score of 9 out of 10, as effectively adresses current educational needs and challenges, aligns with academic standards and covers a broad range of topics. Although it could be improved by incorporating more contemporary issues and specialisation.

First Step in Life

Likes

Faculties are very friendly in nature and they helped me a lot
There is good surrounding atmosphere in my college
Canteen is very good and quality of the food is nice, they can sell the foods for affordable price

Dislikes

There is no placement but we will be informed about the recruiters through our college
There is no internship but many companies volunteers for internship in our college
There is no projects in our department and no more viva

Subjects are very opt for this course We learned many new things Teaching methods are very good I would suggest them to add the internship There is no projects and viva they have to introduce projects and viva.

Amazing campus experience and infrastructure
Highly qualified teachers who helps us to mentally prepare for the outside world
Teaching not limited to academics but also an experience

Dislikes

Canteen food should be improved.

Placement Experience:

For us English students, campus placements start in the final semester. But for the other courses, it starts from second semester itself. About 70% of students get placed from the university with good packages.

The campus is very vast, approximately 800 acres.
Its a very different experience studying in a central university.
The atmosphere and surroundings of the campus is very beautiful.

Dislikes

The academics is average to below average.
The faculty is not the most motivated to help the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus is very light for applied psychology in this university. There are only 3 semesters which have written exams. The last semester is just project and viva.One factor i liked about the curriculum is that in the third semester we can choose our specialty based on our interests.there are 3 options counselling clinical and industrial psychology.

Likes

Mostly I like the surrounding environment such as paddy fields,agroforestry,etc
Next I like the main building of the college which looks good

Dislikes

Next I dislike the hostel food which is not good
Lastly I don't like the college and hostel building infrastructure and besides this toilets which is in poor condition

The syllabus of this course is given by ICAR so this is very useful in those preparing for higher studies and this course has a wider scope in abroad,the teaching is almost good and this course provides valuable science information and there is 3 exams per semester

First of all I like the environment of my college which looks hygiene and clea
And also I like the greenish paddy fields which makes me always fresh

Infrastructure is better, environment friendly,they have to practice many things
Staff are well educated upto Phd graduation staff

Hostel is not maintained properly food also so bad
Cleaning is very poor maintained and untidy
Bathroom is not good and toilet also not good

Course and curriculum is not too heavy , but University is to reduce atleast 5 percentage of the portion because then only they can teach each and every concept effectively, so that students can learn properly and get good marks, so that their OGPA will increase.

I am happily say that my college is best for sports it offers various opportunities for us to engage in various games
Other than this,I like my hostel very much because it is a place for learning good friendship besides communication skills

Dislikes

First I am very worried about the fee structure of this college it is huge comparing to other colleges
Lastly I dislike the hostel food which is poor in taste
Next,I dislike the infrastructural facilities of both admin block and hostel which is constructed since the college commenced

The course is very special course because after completion we can have a wider scope both in private as well as public sector,it provides valid general science data which is useful for many competitive exams.And there is three exams per semester,one is mid-semester,Final practical and Final theory exam.

Likes

My college often conduct programme and events which helps engage students very well in practical studies. And they encourage students by many prizes offered.
Our campus is very strict at the engagement activities because they offer marks in these activities also
As our institution is autonomous the curriculum is well built by many researches for our great career development and the quality of infrastructure is not compromisable it's very great

Dislikes

The process of teaching and periods allocation can be improved
According to my vision the inter college events can be conducted oftenly
The internship can be provided by the college rather we go and seek the companies

Placement Experience:

The placement session is offered by college with the specified period before placement companies arrive. Surity insurance Ltd., TCS, Whirlpool and 5 more The position offered is BPO, Sales field, Marketing field etc. The average package is 4,00,000 per annum 80% of the students placed My plan is higher studies in business school (MBA)

I Have complited my MBA from Distance in year 2021 but i received mu mark sheet and certificate with wrone name. Insted of my name they have put my father's name. So even after sending mails of like 26 times and sending DD of Rs 1100/- they have not done anything and there is no reply in mail and no one oiks up the call. I am so frustrated and loosing hope. I really dont know when this will be corrected..
