How many teaching weeks are there in the BPUT B.Tech course?

The number of teaching weeks in each semester of the B.Tech course offered at Biju Patnaik University shall be fifteen to eighteen with a minimum of 90 teaching days excluding the period of examination.

What is the maximum duration of completing BPUT UG courses?

A student who is weak in studies can complete a 4-year UG program of BPUT in not more than 7 years, a 3 year UG program not exceeding 5 years, while the 5 year UG program, not more than 8 years.

Yes, some of the seats at BPUT are reserved for physically handicapped students, however, they are required to satisfy the prescribed medical fitness norms.

Can a B.Tech student at BPUT change his/her branch?

Yes, any student pursuing B.Tech at BPUT may be allowed a change in their branch after they have completed the course requirements for the first and second semesters. The change in a branch will be done subject to the availability of seats in a program. The selection shall be based on merit through candidates combined results in the first two semesters.

Students who have appeared for the BPUT Exam for both UG and PG courses can check their BPUT Result on the notice section available on the official website of the varsity. Students are required to visit the official website at bput.ac.in. Then, they need to select the examination tab and click on the BPUT exam result. A detailed summary of the students result will be displayed on the screen.

How a student is evaluated at BPUT?

Students at BPUT are required to maintain the required credit points for each semester as per the rules formulated by AICTE. Each discipline at Biju Patnaik University consists of 4 things: Theory, Practical, Sessional, and Project work. A student is evaluated based on the above-mentioned 4 criteria.

I don't like many things in college. Such worse environment in our college. Always people try to quarrel in with us.
Food of the canteen is very bad also not a single shop is in the 125acres of campus

Infrastructure is very good they have big Complex cricket ground and many other things

We should provide high speed internet the speed of slow

Placement are very good multiple companies come every year the lowest packages 1.2 lakh per year up to 12 lakh per year highest 3.5 is the average package.For appearing for placement you have to score 60% in every semester without any backlog

Likes

Campus experience is good. Faculty is okay.
Hostel is good.There is no ragging inside the campus.
Teachers are helping. and also you can enhance your ability by joining different clubs.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not so good. There is definitely some room for development
There is not much better garden or park.
There is not very good playing ground inside the campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement is good. The average placement of cs is 7.2 placement and for IT it is also 7.1 placement.for Electronics and electrical The median salary is 4.5 and average is 5.6 placement.for mechanics it is 4.5lpa.

The campus life of this college is good .
Various tech clubs are so good .. And members are helpful.
Faculties take care of each minute portion of the course during teaching

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not upto the mark in this college.
There isn't any specific court for tennis player.
Academic life of this college is so hectic.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is decent . There are approximately 70+ companies which are visited to our campus this year. The highest package is 44lpa till now.. The average package is around 7lakhs.My plan is to get a good campus placement.

Placement Experience:

4th year students were eligible for campus placements. The placement is much better than other colleges. The companies visited previously were tata, Adani, and more. The highest and average package is 4 lakhs as per company and profiles offer is much great. 50% of students are getting placed and campus placement I will try to achieve this.

Likes

Very good environment and the students faculties are good .
Good technical fests and sports and good communication.
Good hostel facility and food facilities.

Dislikes

Not fancy parks and gardens in college campus only so many trees and jungles.
In hostel the in time is 7 pm in night in first year.
Not much good infrastructure and very fancy campus .dusts are mote.

Placement Experience:

Placement are good on the basis of branches.cse and it get more placement and then e and I then mechanical.civil respectively. And the highest package are 83 lakhs and general 6 7 lakhs 60percent students get the placement in almost every branch and after degree my plan is to give gate exam.

Campus is most beautiful place I ever seen and enjoy
Faculties are supportive and always push students like own children.
Education is excellent, the process and the goals also.

Placement Experience:

There are many placements the students want, the students have to grab the opportunity and fly with the opportunities. Average package maybe 280000 per annum or 300000 per annum. Highest package maybe 500000 per annum. I am not sure.

Hostel food is too good considering it is a hostel. ( RHR)
Each and every clubs are so much into their field and eager to work.
There are many cricket tournaments gets organised every year.

Dislikes

Hostel intime is 7.00pm for first year..
There isn't a park or garden in the college.
Infrastructure of the college should be improved.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. The campus placement is decent... The average placement is 6 lakhs per annum. The the highest package is 44 lakh per annum last year.. The lowest package is 3 lakh per annum last year. 80? of the students who are eligible for the placement gets placed.

The faculty of the course are very much humble and friendly in nature

Dislikes

The bus facility is no provided to the hostel boarders.
The food quality of the hoatels are not satisfactory.
The distance of academic block from hostels is little far away.

The placement opportunity are amazing. The minimum criteria for attend the placement is the student has minimum 6 CGPA in the semester exam. The students can attend the placement after the sixth semester examination overs.

The sports f College is appreciable. The coaches here are actually very nice with the players.

Likes

Campus and faculty are very supportive and caring.
Extracurricular activities are nice also.
Campus life is very smooth and well maintained.

Dislikes

Attendance issues and lack of support in other activities.
Attendance stops any further participation in other activities.
No transparency in college everything happens very secretive.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I decide to choose CSE because I was interested in it. The curriculum covers all fundamental aspects of computer science. Must be practical and hands on. The exams are very flexible and is conducted according to the course structure.
