How many teaching weeks are there in the BPUT B.Tech course?

The number of teaching weeks in each semester of the B.Tech course offered at Biju Patnaik University shall be fifteen to eighteen with a minimum of 90 teaching days excluding the period of examination.

What is the maximum duration of completing BPUT UG courses?

A student who is weak in studies can complete a 4-year UG program of BPUT in not more than 7 years, a 3 year UG program not exceeding 5 years, while the 5 year UG program, not more than 8 years.

Is there any seat reservation at BPUT for physically handicapped students?

Yes, some of the seats at BPUT are reserved for physically handicapped students, however, they are required to satisfy the prescribed medical fitness norms.

Can a B.Tech student at BPUT change his/her branch?

Yes, any student pursuing B.Tech at BPUT may be allowed a change in their branch after they have completed the course requirements for the first and second semesters. The change in a branch will be done subject to the availability of seats in a program. The selection shall be based on merit through candidates combined results in the first two semesters.

Students who have appeared for the BPUT Exam for both UG and PG courses can check their BPUT Result on the notice section available on the official website of the varsity. Students are required to visit the official website at bput.ac.in. Then, they need to select the examination tab and click on the BPUT exam result. A detailed summary of the students result will be displayed on the screen.

How a student is evaluated at BPUT?

Students at BPUT are required to maintain the required credit points for each semester as per the rules formulated by AICTE. Each discipline at Biju Patnaik University consists of 4 things: Theory, Practical, Sessional, and Project work. A student is evaluated based on the above-mentioned 4 criteria.

Teachers are well, good and caring. they make us feel like a school.
I like many things in my college. our class room is awesome . i do like very much.. our library is such a good library.

Dislikes

I don't like many things in college. Such worse environment in our college. Always people try to quarrel in with us.
Food of the canteen is very bad also not a single shop is in the 125acres of campus
There is always problem on water and electricity

My College : GITA Autonomous College

Teaching qualities quite good in this college comparing to other colleges.
The atmosphere of library of this college is find good comparing to other colleges and it is very discipline maintained and neat and clean
We do have Music club gym inside the campus which is very effective for the students of this hostellers

Dislikes

This college forcefully deducts the semester marks to take the charge of 500 rupees per paper for back paper exam
Canteen qualities very low caterpillars and insects are found in food of this canteen
Hostel qualities is very bad. I think it will be better if I will stay outside the campus

Placement Experience:

Placements are good over early but comparing to other colleges classment is good but it is having low lpa like 3.5 or very low which is visible at all and all though there is special attention for placements but it is not so far helpful for anyone

I like my college because it has best architecture.
The campus life is very nice in our college.
The faculty is very good and cooperative.

Dislikes

I dislike about my college is there are so many rules and regulations.
And the placement ratio is very low. But it is good.
Hostel is decent. But there is so many problems in the hostel.

Placement Experience:

In 5th semester student are eligible for the internship and placement. Many companies are come to our college like wipro, TCS, and many other companies. There are 90 percent of people who are placed every year.

Our college doesn't provide much internship options, but students get recommendations from alumnus to get internships.

Complete Review of overhyped GITA autonomous college

The library in our college is really impressive and thats why it is a really good part of the college
Many regional movies come here to do their shooting nothing related to b tech but still makes it special

Dislikes

The college faculties are aren't that open minded and it doesn't feels like m over 18 years old they treat like kids
And to be heard you have to be fearless or else they'll scare you

The course is good the english faculty is really good and the coding faculty is not that impressive people are really strict regarding the attendance and thefe isn't anything special about the faculty.
