Likes

The teaching faculty is excellent. they are expert and have a very good knowledge about the topics.
Scholarship will be soon arranged for the students who achieves by giving a test and is eligible for scholarship.it is important to be able to provide scholarship for althose who are in need .they need to be helped .
Students will absolutely enjoy their campus life as there are various fests, different days are celebrated and the campus itself is very beautiful to enjoy.

Dislikes

I don't like the faculty member of these college, also the hod is a liar.
The admission process was not that difficult but the website was very bad to handle...
Big line for paying fees, fees structure, no online payment available for many colleges

MY DEAR LAW BUDDIES

Likes

College fees structure is very affordable.
College teachers are very supportive to students.
College fests are well known in overall pune city

Dislikes

Students spread political environment in college
Non teaching staff not that much sufficient
College not provide appropriate budget to fests

Placement Experience:

For 5th year students become eligible for campus . Various Law firms along with companies like Bajaj vist to college. As per college data the highest package that offered by the law firm is 9 lakh per annum. About 40% get placement and other start their own practice as a advocate . After getting my degree I want to join company as a company secretary

I liked the things such as the other co-curricular activities like sports, competitions etc.
There is a proper placement management in the college.
There is a proper infrastructure of the campus and learning faculty.

Dislikes

There is no cleaning in the college premises.
There is no proper appreciation of the teachers.
There is no connection of the students with the management.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Law field is the most important field in today's lifestyle, and because of that I eagerly choosed this field. This field prepares me to the real time world applications and further academic performance.

A life in SNFLC

Likes

we are having a good infrastructure with smart classes.
faculty is very supporting and helpful with everything
internship culture is good in and around the college

Dislikes

SPPU Syllabus focused law from the third year that lacks student from other colleges and universities.

Placement Experience:

SNFLC provide a good placement and internship exposure to their students. they gives you a various oppourtunities to developed you interpersonal skills. There is a exposure of good internships and guidances and refrals from the seniors as well as college's placement and internship cells.

Prestigious and most Affordable Law College

Likes

College has a vast area of tress and plants. The greenery looks the most beautiful in Rainy season. One can even spot peacocks in our campus
Learned and experienced teachers. They are helpful and kind and even help us get internship. Thanks to good quality teachers we have a great alumni base.
Campus has facilities like swimming pool and a stadium. The library of our college is one of the oldest libraries in India and has books and pamphlets dating back to British era.

Dislikes

The infrastructure could get better. It hasn't been updated since last 4-5 decades. Number of students and batches have increased whereas number of classrooms in college is still very less
Boys Hostel infrastructure is very old and not maintained at all.
College has a lot of dogs some of whom have even bitten students. But due to certain animal lover college professor they are not removed from the campus neither restrained and because of that students have to suffer

Placement Experience:

From 5th year students become eligible for campus placements. Around 25-40 percent students get placed every year from each batch. Teir 1 firms like Khaitan, Trilegal, LKS, AzB and partners etc and other local firms of Pune come to our college. Banking institutions like ICICI also provide placement to our students. Average package is around 8-9 lac per annum and highest package is around 16 lac per annum.

Experiencing ILS Law College before admission.

Likes

The faculty is ILS is very friendly and they are very supportive in any sort of problems.
ILS organises various competitions, which help one in learning and understanding different areas related to law and also helps in practical knowledge for the same.
ILS provides placements with a good numbers, which is not there in every law college.

Dislikes

College is Commercialising a lot of things, like, swimming pool, Tennis Court, etc, due to which, students get a little less opportunities, which they could get in these sports.
College is very less concerned about the sports and their positive effect on students. Their is very less or no organization of any physical activity.
Conditions of Boy's hostel is not too good. On the other hand, conditions of Girl's hostel is good but thier charges is very high.

Placement Experience:

Placement is also too good in ILS about 70-80% students got placed, who opts for it. Students from their 8th semester are eligible for placements. But, the college placement cell provides a lot of internship opportunities to the students from their 1st and 2nd year itself. Major Companies and Firms that visit in ILS includes, AZB Legal, Khaitan & Co. Trilegal, etc. Talking about highest package, it is of 19.5 lpa with average package of about 9-12 lpa. I wanted to go for judiciary aftet my college. But, I will also give a try in placement.

Review of not much renowned but good law college

Likes

Faculty of the college is really good, supportive and experienced
Principal of the law college is really supportive and looks forward towards the development of students
College has Naac A grade which will further get improved in next cycle which is is in December 2024

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the college is not that good.
There’s a compulsory rule for attendance due to which teachers sometimes hault your hall ticket for few days
Timing for first four semesters is 12-4 which leaves you with no time left in the day

Placement Experience:

There are in campus placements, i wont say everyone secures placement but a decent number of students get placed and the avg. package is around 5-7 LPA. This year also many firms and companies like Bajaj Allianz, lex credence, First Cry etc, visited the college.

An honest review from an honest student

Course Curriculum Overview:

Timings aree in the early mornings to afternooon so that students can do internships as our college believes in practical knowledge rather than only bookish ones. Exams are difficult and sppu dont even show mercy in giving marks to us.

An affordable and nice college as a last option for pursuing law.

Likes

Low fees, as compared to other private colleges in Pune. Faculty members are very helpful.
The ratio of girls and boys is equal and its a very good thing to consider as in Law colleges.
A lot of workshops are organised by the college on the latest social issues.

Dislikes

The whole law college is on one floor, doesn't even a whole building or campus.
The infrastructure is average, library is worst due to small in size, even smaller than the classrooms.
There is no compulsory attendance so students are not serious about lectures is a big turn off.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exam pattern is perfect according to me. Even the question paper is not that difficult if you have studied well. They honestly does a hard work in organising moot courts and even they approach very well to take part in inter collegiate moot court competitions. They help a lot to the students who shows their interest in giving their 100 percent performance. They always keep us familiar with the real world issues and also take us out of the boundary to show us and learn more.

All about Sinhgad law college

Likes

Good faculty - the college has really nice faculty.
Good curriculum - the college provides good curriculum.
Extra curricular activities - college conducted a lot of events and competitions.

Dislikes

No strict attendance - the college doesn't have any prominent attendance need.
No placement or internship cell is there in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is really good. The curriculum prepares one to face the real world by conducting moot courts and debate competition. As well as taking students to courts and jail for the visit and learning from great advocates and judges.

What is your review of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU)?

Saikat Das,studied at Savitribai Phule Pune University (2020)

One of my friends recently graduated from Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). According to her, it is better to do anything rather than joining this institute. She mentioned some of the reasons that made her feel this way.

The institute only focuses on making money and not actual education.
The syllabus and curriculum followed by the institute are outdated.
Practical training is not properly given, making students lag behind the industry demands.
Basic things like a proper academic calendar are not provided.
Re-evaluation is time-consuming and usually not done properly.
A 60% from SPPU is not considered good enough for admission to other colleges. They do not consider it as first class.
They are known to have the worst and uncooperative staff members. They are not at all helpful or considerate about any problem.

It is suggested that you do not opt for SPPU as they are highly unprofessional. They do not have a proper way to conduct classes, assemblies, extracurricular activities and get involved in everything half-heartedly. SPPU is a good example of how a university should be not.
