Review of not much renowned but good law college

Curriculum is good, it covers all the aspects of law in a systematic way along with that, 5th semester onwards in each semester you have to take on optional subject, along with that you can opt for many diplomas and certificate courses within the college

Internships are offered in the semester breaks by the college for which you have to contact placement and training cell and they help you finding appropriate internships. Almost all of the students who apply for internships get their desired internship.

There are in campus placements, i wont say everyone secures placement but a decent number of students get placed and the avg. package is around 5-7 LPA. This year also many firms and companies like Bajaj Allianz, lex credence, First Cry etc, visited the college.

I am a OMS (out side Maharashtra candidate) so i have to pay 60,444 fees yearly for two semesters. Fees for Maharashtra students in around 30,000 yearls and fees for reserved categories is way less, Reservation is available for ews, sc/st, obc, nomadic tribes etc. There's also one exam form that you have to submit every semester fees of that varies from 1000-1500. There are many scholarships but most of them are available to Maharashtra students only

There are many clubs and societies like debating, filming, photography, moot court, art circle, legal aid etc. There's also one annual fest of the college of 1 week known as LawZilla, there's also one unofficial freshers organised by seniors, there's also one sports society. Classrooms and library are well maintained and advanced, classrooms have digital learning equipments, library has wide collection of books, a separate reading room with free to use wifi zone they also provide you with one digital library portal where you can access all the books on your phone or laptop.

I also applied to GLC and ILS the major reason that i was not able to make to that colleges was reservation. 80% of the seats of colleges under MHCET are reserved for Maharashtra students and i was an outside Maharashtra student. I had decent marks in MHCET exams around 103, but couldn't make it to GLC / ILS because of reservation. Though this college is also good after ILS in pune and under MHCET it's the second college who has got NAAC A and faculty is better than DES Navalmal Firodia.

Faculty of the college is the biggest pro, all the faculty is experienced and very supportive, for many subjects there are both permanent and visiting faculty, visit faculty mostly includes practising lawyers. Pattern and marking scheme is based on SPPU (savitribai phule pune university) exams are conducted only twice a year, 80 marks for written exam and 20 marks for your internal which includes your Viva and assignments. There is approximately 1 month break before exams for your preparation.
