Shahaji Law College is one of the reputed law colleges in India and especially in the state of Maharashtra. It is affiliated to Shivaji University (SUK), Kolhapur and approved by Bar Council of India (BCI) & National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The faculty is highly qualified and experience in the field of law education. The college has all facilities like well-equipped library, Hostel facility, Spacious Sports Stadium, Study Room facility, Gym facility, Moot Court, Mock Court, and medical facility. It organizes many national, State level seminars on various topics and Moot Court, Mock Trials, Debate, Essay and Rangoli Competitions in the college to enhance student’s knowledge.

The College Regularly Conducts Academic Study tours, Legal Aid Camps, Blood Donation Camps and Plantation of Trees for the students. It also provides special coaching for weaker students and Scholarships to all backward classes. The placement cell provides guidance to the student’s for their final interview.

woah what college I picked

Likes

classes are good and well built also there are fans in every class.

Dislikes

the placement of the fans is very odd only a certain area and others get soaked in sweat

Admission:

I applied to a commerce college which is good than this in terms staff but my creators wanted me to persuive this degree that is why they put me into this college a bit forcefully may be not but yeah something like that this college is a bit gloomy and they don't even have sports and other activities wierd college

Likes

The college campus is well maintained, providing students with a parking and a ground with multipurpose hall
The environment of this college is friendly and many committees have been formed regarding anti-ragging, women empowerment, social awareness, etc.

Admission:

I didn't apply for any other colleges as this particular one is well known and also the distance isn't much of an issue for me, I could have got admission in other colleges but due to personal reasons I chose this college over others. The admission process is kept simple just visit our college and provide the documents they ask for opt for the course you want to do if you're eligible, so to take admission in this college you atleast have to be 12th passed and have appeared for the MH LAW CET of that same year or such. Many outsiders apply for admission and cutoffs are based on each years merit.

Experience at DRK College of Commerce

Likes

As a student of the college we have access to library, which includes various books related to academics as well as literature, historic
Also we have access to study room by scanning our ID cards, where we can sit and study in a silent space.
College has enough of parking inside as well as outside.

Dislikes

Management of the college at times of exams or any events can be improved.
As Bcom section is in the old building it's infrastructure is not modern and cool as other sections in our college.
College do not have campus as it is placed in the centre of the city. It just has vertical buildings and there's no campus around the building.

Admission:

So basically DRK College of Commerce is considered one of the top colleges in Commerce field. So choosing any other college was never the plan. I got admission for 11 ths and 12 th in this college in the basics of my marks. And from then I continued my further education over here itself. Cutoff for Bcom after 12th is something I am not sure about as I was already prt of the same college. But Cutoff for 11th based on 10 th marks is 85+.

Excellent law college in kolhapur town. Renowned college in kolhapur.

Shahaji Law College Kolhapur UG, PG & Integrated Admission 2025 is open based on Entrance Exams. Interested candidates can visit the official website @unishivaji.ac.in to apply by April 30, 2025 (Extended). The entrance exam is scheduled from May 13 to May 17, 2025. A student who has taken a drop year is eligible to apply for admission to Shahaji Law College, Kolhapur.
