SIU Pune Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placement scenario is good only in SCMHRD. From the 3rd sem onwards the students are eligible for the placement process, The other details can not be revealed by me because of confidentiality. Almost 100 percent placement every year,

The Summer internship placements begin in the first semester and see almost 100% of the students getting placed. A lot of top companies visit the campus for placements. I plan to pursue a job in the domain of human resources management after passing out from my college.

The campus placements in SIBM Pune are excellent and job roles and the companies that come to campus are good. Placements are offered only on MBA flagship and L&S batch. for Innovation and entrepreneurship, they are placed but get opportunities to start their business.

SIBM offers 2 months summer internship which is mandatory for every student to participate in as it is a part of the curriculum to learn and face the industry challenges. First year students get to take part in SIRP which is the summer internship recruitment program. After summer, some students get PPO and others can appear for CRP that is the campus recruitment program which is help for the final year students.

I chose SIT because I was pretty impressed by it's infrastructure when I went for counselling. So the process is you give SET exam and based on cut-off you are eligible for counselling and for counselling you are called in the campus and base on highest marks the CS branch starts, my score was not amazing so I got electronics. The college is good for staying away from home and overall personality development, the external infra is amazing meanwhile the classroom infra is okayish. Folks are more into sports in SIT, even I started playing football. Quiet popular college so I chose this.

The first opportunity to know the corporate culture in summer internships and these internships occur in April- May generally. The final placements are quite good if you have ample knowledge of the subject matter. Thorough preparation is needed for the summer internship and final placements. From the 3rd semester, students are eligible for placements, there are about 50 companies that came for hiring, most of them were BFSI and IT companies. The placements are below average and there is no such dedicated placement week, the placements happen from the start of the third semester till the end of the fourth semester. 80% of the students got placed with the maximum package to be 18 lakhs per annum and the average package was 7 lakhs per annum.

Placements of the college are very good with 100% placement record. Students are provided offers from big corporate companies with so many roles to opt from. Some of the regular recruiters are HUL, Godrej, ITC, WIPRO, etc. Every company that comes to the college make at-least take one candidate from the college so there is no company which go without taking any of the candidate an offer.

From 3rd Semester students become eligible for campus placements. Bajaj FinServ, Delloite, SKP were companies visited and an average of 2-3 offers was made. Highest average package is 800000 CTC and profile was Business Analyst. 85% of students get placements. My plans are to work in MNC after getting the degree.

SIMS has an outstanding placement record. In 2018, 225 students were placed in just 18 days. 92.8% placement was done in just 30 days. Highest CTC was 16.3 LPA. The top 150 students got an average CTC of 10.16 LPA. Live projects were offered by Travel Google, Bajaj Finance, etc. Star Companies on campus- Google, Deloitte, Piramal Realty, Deutsche Bank, EY, KPMG, and currently Namora, Credit Suisse & many more have joined SIMS recruitment list.
