Review of SCMHRD

The good aspect of college is the environment it provides for the students to study. 24*7 there is some of the activity going on which keeps on encouraging students to push their limits. Admission process involved qualifying for SNAP and then going through the GD process. After qualifying GD the candidate has to go through PI as well to finally get admission to this college. This college is famous for HR and I wanted to always specialise in HR so I choose this college. I just contacted my teachers and took their suggestion while selecting this college.

All the faculty members are highly qualified in their respective fields. Few faculty members are there who have years of industry experience and process deep knowledge in their subjects. Every faculty is very helpful and is available all the time to help students whenever in need. There are many faculty members which are enough for all the students to gain attention and seek help from. Exams are conducted well on time and even internals are conducted at the well-specified time.

This college provides an on-campus opportunity for a summer internship. It provides some of the best internship opportunities which generally range from a good position to good stipend. The stipend for summer generally ranges about 100000 for a month. Many students get the role they desire during an internship. There is the number of task/project going on throughout the year within the college and also in other opportunities that involve working for companies as well.

Placements of the college are very good with 100% placement record. Students are provided offers from big corporate companies with so many roles to opt from. Some of the regular recruiters are HUL, Godrej, ITC, WIPRO, etc. Every company that comes to the college make at-least take one candidate from the college so there is no company which go without taking any of the candidate an offer.

The fee is on a higher side but is still less than some of the other b-schools of the country. The scholarship is given to the topper of the class every year, apart from this I think there is no other chance to gain a scholarship. Campus jobs are provided to the students with a number of opportunities from different companies that come to the campus to recruit students.

There are a number of activities going on throughout the year. We have library access which has a huge collection of books throughout the year. Amenities in the classroom are very good with well-furnished seating arrangement and all the requirements that are needed for a study environment. Sports is not the thing to be neglected in this college. During the fest, sports events are also conducted with the same enthusiasm as any other event. There is a number of clubs and college website that are run by students from which we get to learn a lot from the practical exposure to real-life situations.

Yes, there was a GD and PI process once I got cleared with SNAP. The GD is mostly in the size of 8-10 number of students in one GD round. It is very organised as there are instructions given by the panel members beforehand. Everyone gets a chance to speak. The topics given can be anything under the sun and candidates have to talk for a few minutes on the topics. In an interview, the general questions are asked like why SCMHRD, why this course, future plans. Additionally, questions related to current news are asked and also questions related to under graduation course is asked.
