KUHS B.A.M.S : Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The college provides a student-centered learning environment with a faculty-to-student ratio of 1:10, supported by 34 professors across 14 departments and approximately 50 postgraduate doctors. The curriculum follows the NCISM guidelines, featuring a structured progression of 5 subjects in the first year, 6 in the second, and 8 in the third, with four exams annually and a final exam after 18 months. The pass rate is 60%, and teaching quality is inconsistent, particularly in the Shalakya Tantra and Kaya Chikitsa departments.

The 12-month internship program offers practical exposure, including a stipend of INR 23,000 for a year-long internship at the college hospital or an alternative hospital in Kerala. Students from SC, ST, and OEC backgrounds receive the E-Grantz scholarship, which covers fees and offers a monthly stipend, while general category students incur total fees of approximately INR 15,00,000 for the entire course. Hostel fees are affordable, ranging from INR 250-300 per month, with food charges between INR 4,000-5,000 monthly.

There are no campus placements, and attendance of 80% is required to sit for exams, with a condonation option available at INR 555 per paper. Scholarships are available for specific student categories, including MCM, Postmetric e-grants, and support for Lakshadweep students.
