the faculty are highly qualified and approachable withgood mix of research expertise and industry knowledge
the cmapus infrastructure is excellent with modern classromms ,labs, libraries and hostel facilities
the placement support is strong and the peer group is diverse and the curriculum is updated regularly
Dislikes
the fees are on the higher side, which may not be affordable for everyone
the academic pressure can be high for me its so hectic
sometime sit depends that the hostel mess food could be improved in terms of taste and sometime sadministartive processes are really time taking,as we need to go throgh a long process
Placement Experience:
at manipla ,mtech students generally become eligible for campus palcements from the 3rd semester onwards ,once they have completed their core technical course and dissertation work has begun ,a wide range of companies visit teh campus
College open tipl 10pm u can use the library anytime very welled studying environment around the college
Dislikes
Nothing all is good very well maintained community
Course Curriculum Overview:
The use of real world case studies in class was beneficial they helped to show the talend of studiend
As in the exam time usually they make us to feel good in library and labs
Labs are opened group studies are encouraged
Good teaching, especially for automobile branch it has got the best professors who are so cooperative and kind enough to solve the doubts patiently until the concepts are clear.
Good labs for practical demonstration. Especially in automotive engines lab, toyota has provided one setup for one of the experience.
Overall it's really good for anyone thinking of doing masters in their desired field
Dislikes
Nothing as such. Nearing to end of Semester 1 and there's nothing as of now which I dislike.
No dislikes as of now, will have to experiment more time here.
As it's only sem 1, I couldn't find a thing I can dislike here but it also depends on the branch here
Placement Experience:
For MTech students, first year consists of two semesters. From the second year, internship opportunities and companies start to come in the campus. So mostly if you get internship, it'll get converted into full time jobs upon your performance. End year placements also happens but it's quite dicey. So if you want to grab the opportunity then internship is the thing. Apart from internship there are PHD options as well as 1+1 program.
Infrastructure for Playing, Co-Curricular Activities, Extra Curricular Activities and Ability to go abroad for Internships and Job through IAESTE. The Manipal is nodal centre in india for Foreign Internships in B.Tech Itself and open for M.Tech too.
Dislikes
All things are good , except sometimes it may seem over strictness in terms of Discipline
Placement Experience:
So if a particular student is above the minimum eligibility criteria that is of 7 or 7.5 CGPA and in his or her course then I seen particularly in masters of engineering courses the campus placement team will give its best to reveal in the companies so that the student will get sample opportunities who convert the opportunity into a successful one.
All the product based companies and service base companies will visit the campus and its up to the students to convert the opportunity into a successful one since the campus will bring all companies and if a particular student is above eligibility criteria then its solely up to the student's performance.
The infrastructure, the college is well built at apt location. All mess hostels are inside the campus.
The activities, college fest, the vibe. Its a dream college for many.
The staff, its well experienced, all PHD holder or trying to get PHD. They posses immense knowledge
Dislikes
The long class hours. Sometimes it ll be 2-3 gours classes withouth break.
Old classes should be renovated. Some classes in old building
The exam timings, they are at odd timings. I dint like going to write exams afternoon.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Very effective, the course was revised a year back when i joined. So it was up to date. Yes it helps us to deal with real world, so many things i learnt are resonating with my job now. Specialy the labs, where sir taught about the documents the construction companies posses and how they are used. There were exams every 2 months.
Manipal institute of technology is well known institute in India with its branches in Sikkim as well as jaipur. The institution is of top notch in academics, sports, facilities, research, culture and many more that is what drove me to this college.
College has good faculties and labs College supports us very much even the non teaching staff are also good. All the basic facilities are provided. We can stay in college and work in labs after the college hours
Positive side I can tell aboyt the place where college located is really awesome and the infrastructure is also really good but at the same time I feel the fees they take is little high. Other than this manipal is always a better option.
