Likes
- The college is maintained very well including good greenery.
- It is not an open campus, so there is no traffic issues or pollution regarding motorcycles inside the college.
- The college is facilitated and conducts a good number of fests after exams which is quite appreciable.
Dislikes
- The food taste they provide is quite unsatisfied to me.
- The college is must be maintained with good sanitary workers.
- Somewhat unsatisfied with the placement that comes to our college.
Placement Experience:
The placements of our college is good for some branches like cse, ece, petro engineering.. and moderate for remaining branches. Most of the students are placed every year without failure. Also most of the students also try for off campus placements.

- Faculty from various iits used to teach us that is great.

- The courses are too lengthy and time taking.
- Infrastructure is not that much great having old vibes
- Placement of core is not that much good.
Placement Experience:
From 7 semester students become eligible for campus placements.the Companies visited were google, microsoft, amazon,larsen and tubo.by statics wise max to max 350 students get their placement in zeroth day.the highest package was 80 lakh and average is 16 lakh.
70-80 percent students gets placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Civil Engineering course is very good for the people who have intrest in it. This course is very interesting and passionating. Classes are less as compared to other branches . Labs are less and quick.

- This college has wonderful staff they teach very well and the fests are really wonderful.you wont get bored in the campus.

- the rules will be very strict and you will be debared for small reasons.

the placement rate depends on branch.some branches like cse,ese will have a high placement rate and for small branches like mechanical and chemical will have less placements .the highest package is around 60lpa.

- and proffs are well educated and good and friendly

- Things is disliked is lab are very far from the hostel
- and this north india food is not nice and not tasted good

yes placements in my collage is very good and nice and effective 7 th semster students are eligible for the placements and commppanies are very good and high offerd pakages and avg package is 15lakhs per year

- The campus- Its absolutely beautiful full of greenary. You can definetly enjoy the campus life, and the experience of enjoying the nature. The campus looks amazing particularly in the season of winter. We all used to enjoy the campus and the .
- The faculty is the best. Pursuing a phd all the proffesors have got their phds from foreign institutes, and nobody can better qualify for teaching than them.
- The canteen food is also the best thing in the campus. There is even a dominos outlet in the campus.
Dislikes
- There are some entry restrictions into hostels which i didnt like.
- There is even restricted timing for library. I want it to be open all day and night.
- The fests need to have more budget, cause it make the student experience beautiful
Placement Experience:
The placements are so good.You can even get foreign companies either you want to go into core or a non core background. An the average package given by the companies is absolutely worth it. Nearly 90% of students get placed

- Infrastructure is ok but want it more than now library is good

- Ragging in the campus is not good and alcohol
- In the laboratory we didn't have separate branch building

For the exam we did not have time to prepare and I have choose the because of the core i much like it
The prof are fully supported for us for any projects and others
There are 50 days mid exams it was 30 marks and exams 50 marks and quiz 20 marks

- In our college all the processes are done in systematic way and if any problem arises there will be a quick solution .And the quality of education that are thought by our faculties are highly comfortable to understand and they clarify our doubts.
- The extra curricular activites that are encouraged to all the students ,that can give a student confidence in themselves to build their carrier . College it self provide some resourses for the project or any inter IIT competitions.
- The mentorship program that provide every student interaction with a Professor which give a problem solver to the student . Also the infrastructure of the college is old and vintage looks that build by British Government.
Dislikes
- The boys to girls ratio is 11:6 .The quality of food is very low and rules are little bit not fair to one
- The invigilation and the process of examination is not good
- The antiragging rules are not that much strict

The placements in our college is very good having average of 20laks package and high placement percentage. Also students have opportunites in internships in 3rd year of their respective course . More replicated companies offer packages to the students .
I have plans of doing hardwork to get Government job .

- At my college , there were roughly one girl for every thee boys. Even if wasn`t ideal, a concerted attempt was made to make the space friendly and inclusive to all. Nonetheless, the disparity was apparent in group projects, class, debates.
Dislikes
- There was a noticeable gender imbalance , particularly in team sports and technical groups where boys were more likely to participate . This may occasionally restrict different viewpoints.

Placement Experience:
One of my colleges best features is its placements program, which offers fantastic chances for students to launch their carrers.
In the fifth and sixth semesters, students are prepared with aptitude training sessions, group discussions, and resume construction.
About 85% of qualified pupils were placed during the previoes school year. Compared to core engieering fields, placements rates were marginally higher in IT branches.

- Lush green campus with good facilities and good maintainance of campus

- Washrooms are not well maintained, sanitation is not that good in hostels
- Ragging is still going on, its specifically communal ragging
Course Curriculum Overview:
There is no aspect of the curriculum that influenced, i have choose this course because of my JEE ADV rank.
Our course is not that bad, they actually teach for our further academic pursuits.
One thing that i wanted to improve that the syllabus that we are being taught is different from the experiments we do in the labs (specifiacally physics) if they are related then we could understand the concepts easily.
The frequency and timings are reasonable on their difficulty level.

IIT Dhanbad ranks 15th among the Engineering category by NIRF 2019. It is a much older establishment than IIT Bhubaneswar. The fee structure for BTech in ECE at IIT Dhanbad is 2,30,120 for one year. It Requires a JEE ranking of 3000-10000 for ECE. The ECE department of IIT Dhanbad has seen 60% placement of students with an average annual salary package of 15 lakhs per annum and highest being 39 lakhs per annum. IIT Dhanbad has a total of 332 faculty members who are highly qualified and experienced members. Out of total, 315 members are Ph.D. holders.
IIT Bhubaneswar ranks 17th in the Engineering category by NIRF 2019. It is one of the newer IITs. The students with JEE ranking between 2000-7000 are eligible for Electrical Engineering in IIT Bhubaneswar. IIT Bhubaneswar in 2019 has seen 89% placement in the Civil Engineering Department with an average annual salary package of 11 lakhs per annum, 39 lakhs per annum being the highest. IIT Bhubaneswar has a total of 145 faculty members who are highly qualified and Ph.D. holders. IIT Bhubaneswar has 2 hostels for boys and girls each. It also has Shopping Complex, Healthcare centers, gym, Sports grounds and courts, Common rooms, Media entertainment rooms, ATMs, etc.
Thus, IIT Dhanbad will be a better option to study ECE than Electrical Engineering from IIT Bhubaneswar because, Being one of the oldest established IITs, IIT Dhanbad is known for its quality of education and their campus life. It also has better and more experienced faculty members.
