NIT Hamirpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The cariculam is precise and comprehensive. The only bad thing is the course is outdated and heavy. The exam frequency is good 1 mid sem and an end sem whose difficulty is moderate to tough. I'd suggest more inclusive with the faculty

After 4 semester students can apply for campus placements. Highest package from our college is 1.65 crores and average is 20 lakh. More than 85% of students are placed in my college every year. No exact planes right now

Most of the students go for IT placements..because this college do not offer kuch opportunities for circuits branches like ee and ece due to which either you can get IT placement or prepare for government exams..I m not saying that there are no companies for core ..but they are not that good and not that much ..compared to IT companies.

The highest package offered during NIT Hamirpur placements 2023 stood at INR 173 LPA, which was offered to the student of BTech CSE branch. Further, a total of 690 students were placed out of 952 eligible students during NIT Hamirpur placements 2023. Apart from this, a total of 713 offers were made during NIT Hamirpur placements 2023.

Average package: 12 LPA, Companies: Many good companies visit here but not many of the top tier due to location factors. Highest package: 52 LPA by CRED. The placement percentage is high in CSE and ECE.

From the 7th semester onwards we get to sit in the placement interviews. Several renowned companies visit our colleges like Samsung, Wipro, wells Fargo, Paytm, oracle and etc. These Companies offer good packages of 8-9 LPA. The highest package is 1 crore above by many students. From my branch 96 percent of students get placement. After getting my degree I am preparing for isro.

The placements percentage of our institute varies from one branch to other. Computer science and Electronics and communication engineering have good average packages while other branches have many wonderful packages but lower average packages. But having skill in you can't affect to be in any branch. You can simply get a high package if you have the potential to fulfill the needs of the company.

Generally, colleges offer good placements to students. If any student doesn't want to take placement from the campus he can take off-campus placement. Recently a student of NIT Hamirpur was offered a package of 1.3 crores per annum

Good placement almost 90 % of students got placed Highest package is 25lac per annum Capgemini Accenture Godrej Maruti honda subtos Schindler are the company visiting nith Campus placement scenario is also very good for computer science and electronics branch for the core branches as civil mechanical it's not very good only 40 to 60% students get placed in campus placements the maximum package is also not fancy the average package offered to Kurban 386 lakh per annum where ICS Computer Science Students get an average package of 12 lacs per annum

Nice weather and mountains, placements, safe for girls at some point and wanted to work on hardware and also i am not good at software side so i chose ece, my preference though was nit delhi but my second preference was nit Hamirpur:)
