- The faculty of our department is very nice. they have very strong knowledge of the subject and also they are involved in very good research project.
- Yes college also provide many scholarships to students and they were too helping.
- "hillfair"-this is the cultural festival of the college two unforgettable nights filled with fun, joy, laughter, entertainment, learning, bonding, interacting with batchmates as well as seniors for the overall growth.
Dislikes
- The placements of my college have became quite bad gradually, and they have fallen quite badly .
- Hostels and their washroom are in pathetic condition. mess food is also not up to the mark . overall hostel condition is not good. almirah and chairs are broken ,
- Teachers and staffs are bit of biased to the himachal pradesh

Course Curriculum Overview:
I always want to opt CS due to my interest in programs and computer.
Their curriculum train us to get a proper software engineer,it includes communication skills course and labs and student can choose what they want to learn from second or third year from different fields.
The curriculum includes lots of practical files and assignment which takes lot of time and causes student to practice less their own and they often engage in completing practical files by using chatgpt and copy others.

- Campus is located on the hills area so it is fun to roam in the campus.
- Weather of the campus is very nice being situated in the mountains.
- Girls to boys ratio is also good than most of the engineering colleges approximately 1 : 3.5
Dislikes
- NIRF ranking of the college is not upto the mark.
- You can't change your branch after taking admission into the college.
- Minimum 75 percent attendance criteria is so bad.
Placement Experience:
Placements vary branch to branch .you can start working as an intern from the 5th semester itself but it solely depends on you and your skills that you'll get a internship or not. Civilians placement is not upto the mark but you'll get a job if you have skills.

- The campus area is very large its approximately 320 acres so you will get to see many things around you also the college is in himachal pradesh so you will get to see a lot of greenery around you.
- There are many technical and cultural clubs and society in college which I liked the most because it will help you to get confidence in your life.
- The faculty is well qualified we have Professors from all over India. Every professor is PHD holder.
Dislikes
- The college is away from the city area so you will be getting connectivity issues

The average package of NIT Hamirpur is 7.54 lpa and the highest package was 173 lpa in 2023.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum for the electronics department is quite good it trains us for the placements and real world applications in the future upcoming years.
There are many innovative subjects such as Entrepreneurship and Marketing Dynamics and Communication Skills.

- I liked the architecture at the college. The department buildings are very well built with all the facilities.

- I disliked the way they put the restrictions for the first year.
- There is a high chance that you might easily get into narcotics.
Placement Experience:
From the third year students can apply for the campus placements through the Placement Cell Of the College.
Approximately 90 percent students get placed in the core companies.
My plan after the degree is to work at a MNC to gain experience and then would try to do my masters from abroad.

- Campus of callege is very beautiful.Our department is also pretty well and everything is in good condition.
- Hostel mess food is also pretty good then I expected before.
- Variety of clubs and committee to engage with to inhance your skill, personal growth.

- Hostel and department are very far from eachother we walk alot

I choose this course because i was interested,and well it is not that easy you have to work a lot, sleepless nights. But with time you will cover up everything.. Continuity and patience is main that matters.By looking at previous year paper I don't think exam are that difficult.

- voter sanitation is not so good we have poor voters sanitation hair water qualities also not good

4 1st year student I think it it's no so much relevant but the second year and 3rd year and onwards syllabus is relevant for our benefit first year communication skill is good it will help our development in human resource development communication skill is very helpful and ethical development also there
