Course curriculum is according to NEP 2020 but there is con that teaching in 1st year must be related to respective engineering branches But it has pro too student in 1st year might get to know about their interests

There is alot of internship opportunities available in national institute of technology hamirpur there is program known as SVNIT summer internship program 2024 for internship opportunities to students

Placement are good in nit Hamirpur the average package offered per annum is 750000 And the highest package offered per annum in cse is 1730000 the placement percentage in mechanical engineering , chemical engineering and architecture is 100%

The fee structure for btech is 96600 for 1st semester in which 62500 is tuition fee,13000 is one time institute charges which are taken at the time of admission only which include admission fee, identity card, fee convocation fee, department society membership fee ,student safety insurance fee, institute caution money , and per semester institute charges are 21100 for sc/st one time institute charges are 13000 and per semester institute charges are 21100 and tution fee is 0

Campus life is good enough greenery everywhere the annual fest held in nit Hamirpur is hill fair and annual technical fest is nimbus ,alot of books are available in Library, classroom are equipped with smart boards and projectors, campus has a very large ground for sports, alot of clubs are there is nit Hamirpur it depends on student how he/she manage his/her studies with clubs

In KBH (1st year hostel for boys) Some hostel rooms are 3-seaters and some are 4-seater each student is getting his study table, chair,bed and almirah the mess food is quite manageable but it needs some improvement

I have applied for national institute of technology jalandhar and national institute of technology hamirpur but I have chosen nit Hamirpur because of its beautiful campus and Better quality teaching admission to nit Hamirpur is based on jee mains score one needs to have given jee mains examination and must be getting a good percentile and rank for securing admission

Faculties are well qualified and helpful always available for students faculties are available us their respective departments for doubt clearing Some of the facilities take class tests too and in between semester there are mid semester examination and at the end of semester there are end semester examinations
