Likes
- The faculty of our department is very nice. they have very strong knowledge of the subject and also they are involved in very good research project.
- Yes college also provide many scholarships to students and they were too helping.
- "hillfair"-this is the cultural festival of the college two unforgettable nights filled with fun, joy, laughter, entertainment, learning, bonding, interacting with batchmates as well as seniors for the overall growth.
Dislikes
- The placements of my college have became quite bad gradually, and they have fallen quite badly .
- Hostels and their washroom are in pathetic condition. mess food is also not up to the mark . overall hostel condition is not good. almirah and chairs are broken ,
- Teachers and staffs are bit of biased to the himachal pradesh

Placements are very good in this college like I said before... The avg package of college is around 9 lakhs and of CSE it's around 13 lakths which I things is good maybe ... But according to me it's good as compared to my jee mains score

- Beautiful campus. The plants and grass is well maintained throughout the campus, the infrastructure is very good.
- The campus is very clean and is very large. 320 acres of space in the entire campus.
- The entire campus is connected with great smooth roads with zero potholes
Dislikes
- The hostel has water availability issues.
- The sanitation in the hostel washroom isn't the best right now due to water supply shortage.
Placement Experience:
The placement is decent, most branches get a good placement percentage, CSE is the main highlight here and other branches like mechanical and electronics and communication engineering also get decent packages.

- Losts of Free time as on most days classes end at 1pm
- Campus is beautiful ad its in the moutains.
- Climate is good and temperature is lower.
Dislikes
- Syllabus is outdate like most colleges have.
- Not enough freedom given to 1st year student .. a bit of ragging too.
Placement Experience:
3rd year students can go for placements.
I dont know companies that came last year... but a friend of mine's brother got placement in Oracle as he qualified for Gshock.
Your cgpa needs to be greater than 7 to get placed i believe.

- If you came to NIT Hamirpur you can experience a very good atmosphere around. It's a quite beautiful campus in mountains
- College infrastructure is also well developed and you can even experience great sports facilities available at the students activity center..
- College seniors are quite good and supporting in almost every field.You can come and join various societies present in NIT Hamirpur
Dislikes
- Being a first year student you need to enter the hostel by 6:00 pm
- In first few months you are allowed to go to the local markets on weekends..
- There are certain boundations and rules you need to follow in the first few months of college..
Placement Experience:
Generally students are allowed to sit in placements from their 3rd year onwards..Campus placement offers you a very great opportunities to work and join various leading companies..Colleges placement percentage stood around 75% and highest package offered is 1.73 crores to a student after his BTech.

- The amazing environment of HIMACHAL and the beutiful mountains near the campus.
- The teacher's and staff's helping nature.
- Anti ragging rule that stricts the act of ragging in the campus.
Dislikes
- Excessive restriction in first semester of college
- Sanitations in some part of boys hostel is not good.
- Water problem in E block during rainy days.
Placement Experience:
From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement. There are many national, international and multinational Complanies visits the college and choose the students of different domain and interest.

- girls to boys ratio is better than other nits
- support of seniors and societies are very good

- restrictions to first year that we cant go outside after 6 pm
- faculty and teachers teaching staff is not good
Placement Experience:
campus placement of college is good but bad than other nits .students eligible for placement from 7 semester. mostly major companies visit this college .highest packac=ge is around 70 lpa and average is 7.5 lpa. approx 80 percent of students get placed.

- Whole campus is full of greenary , For nature lover this place is heaven
- Placement stats is quite decent especially if you take consideration of current situation
- The quality of infrastructure is also decent especially when it comes to acadmic building
Dislikes
- There is loads of restriction on first year Maybe they will lift it in second semester but for first semester it's quite strict
- Hostel building needs some improvement especially bathroom
Placement Experience:
Student become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester
The highest package offered during placements 2023 stood at INR 173 LPA, which was offered to the students of the BTech CSE branch. Further, a total of 690 students were placed out of 952 eligible students. Apart from this, a total of 713 offers were made during NIT Hamirpur placements 2023.
For now I am planning to sit for placement in my final year

- the campus is very beautiful and the environment here is very pleasant you will surely love the campus
- the seniors are also very helpful campus life is also good
- infrastructure of nit hamirpur is awesome the buildings are up to the mark
Dislikes
- the only thing to worried is the intiming that we have to enter the hostel at 6:00 pm asap
- some seniors are not very good you have to treat them with full respect like a servant only then they talk to you nicely
Placement Experience:
the campus placements of nit hamirpur is above average it offers 100% placement which is a nice record for the chemical engineering department and the placements of other branches is also good it is about 9.00 lakhs
