Likes
- The faculty of our department is very nice. they have very strong knowledge of the subject and also they are involved in very good research project.
- Yes college also provide many scholarships to students and they were too helping.
- "hillfair"-this is the cultural festival of the college two unforgettable nights filled with fun, joy, laughter, entertainment, learning, bonding, interacting with batchmates as well as seniors for the overall growth.
Dislikes
- The placements of my college have became quite bad gradually, and they have fallen quite badly .
- Hostels and their washroom are in pathetic condition. mess food is also not up to the mark . overall hostel condition is not good. almirah and chairs are broken ,
- Teachers and staffs are bit of biased to the himachal pradesh

After 7th placement, many companies come in the campus of college and hire students of different branches. These companies give good salary jobs according to students ability and their branches. Almost all students are placed .almost all famous companies hire students here

- Beautiful and a huge Campus, everything available
- Being from Electronics and comm. Engineering, the professors are the best
- Library is the best facility i find in the campus
Dislikes
- Big campus means lot of walk, everything you need to reach you have to walk for atleast 10 minutes
- Reservation is something i condemn and you can see it's effects everywhere
- Fee for general is too high as compared to some reserved students
Placement Experience:
Great companies come and many offers are made if you are from a core branch ofcourse CG is of great value for the companies... i myself paln for higher studies but you can always go for placements if you wish too and almost all students land with one in hand

- Teachers are very good and very helpful both in academic and extracurricular activities
- Sports facilities are extremely good even the staff used to play with students
Dislikes
- Not every branches have same average package as computer science
- Attandance criteria and new education policy
- Lack of resources around the campus like shopping complex and luxury places etc
Placement Experience:
Placement of nit hamirpur is good computer science as always opted the highest package with the highest average package although every branch have good placement opportunies including civil electrical

- Campus is very good and beautiful , surely one will enjoy
- Variety of clubs and societies for students
- Sports and other facilities are also there and number of continuous events are also enjoyable
Dislikes
- Food is not that good and you can get sick
- Faculity is not that good some of them are worse
- Restrictions on students in hostel and even in campus is major issue
Placement Experience:
Campus placement are good this year it was very good for core branches and nearly 80-90 percent student got placed and nearly 10 lakhs was the average package. Companies like Cred, honda are major recruiter.

- you dont get free time as much in branches other than cse

From 7/8th semester i.e. from final year onwards the placement cell is open.
many companies visit to recruit students from nith.
Last year the package was average 7-8lpa, and highest off-campus payout was 1.51 cr which was given to eng. physics student.
I currently have not thought about placement in my campus.

- The campus and infrastructure is quite beautiful and lush green.
- The number of classes per week gives us enough time to focus on co curricular activities.
Dislikes
- Few teachers are a bit passive in their teaching style.
- Theres no seperate building for two of the seven departments engineering physics and material sciences

From 7th semester onwards are the students eligible to sit for campus placements . More than a 100 companies visited last year with around 800 job offers with highest package of 1.75 cr per annum and average of 8 lakh per annum.

PLacements are relative depending on the branch.
Computer science students tend to have a higher preference for it company recruiters.
Core branches also have a decent amount of placement.
Average package is around 10 LPA.

- Campus has too many trees and it was very good for health
- Love the campus because of its greenery and the way it was constructed
- The educational system was good like faculties were also good and helpfull

- There is water shortage in hostels in summers which is disturbing.
- Wifi conditions in hostels are not so good that many hostels doesn’t have wifi facility
- The food stalls inside the campus are not so good.
Placement Experience:
The placement scenario in college was good like from last 2,3 years it was increasing as about an average 70% students got placed pn campus.The highest package was 1.7 cr abroad and in india it was aroung 52 lakh . So the college have good placements records overall.

- 70% attendance criteria. it should be upto 50%
Placement Experience:
Most of the students are eligible for placements from 7th semester but few are eligible from 5th semester based upon your skills and enthusiasm.Highest package is record breaking upto 1Cr and percentage of student placed is also very high..Overall the placement is good

- College infrastructure is too good, sports facilities are also good, professors are highly qualified and teaching techniques are amazing
Dislikes
- College connectivity is not good, we have to travel for 3 hours in bus in hilly region to reach out college from una railway station.
Placement Experience:
There is decent placement in our college, the college provides almost 90% placement to CSE students whereas for core branches placement is little bit less it is about 70%. IT Companies which come for placement allow other branch students also to sit for placement in their company.
