Aspirants seeking admission to 4 year Full-time B.Tech Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:

- The mess food is not that much good it is decent

As of trend you have a lot of option in chemical branch and for this branch the course curriculum which has been set is perfectly matched you are provided to the point knowledge and you also have some extra courses

- College location struture and wheather of the campus
- Hostel life is one of my favourite thing in cllg
Dislikes
- Behaviours of senior not many but some of them are hell
- Faculity is also not too cooperations rather than of some teachers
Course Curriculum Overview:
I would like to rate a decent amount of star like 4 or 3 subject are kinda hard but if you start taking interest it is easy but many problem is from te gate some don't know how to teacher or are very rude to students

- Campus life is very good. Everywhere is greenery and i enjoy very much in the campus.
- Teachers are great in this college. They help you in ur academics very precisely and always ready to help.
Dislikes
- The strictness in the hostels is something i dont like.
- Some area of the campus is not available for use as it is in the hills.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is average. It can be improved very much. I see that the curriculum is lagging behind in various aspects of the modern education system. The director and the HODs of the department must see this and make some improvements. First-year students are all treated equally according to their subjects. All students of the first year have the same subjects to study in the first two semesters of the first year.

- College environment is nice ,this includes a large number of trees which is a very good thing
- College campus area is also large which includes all things of ideal college
Dislikes
- This includes the remote location of the college
- Many faculties are not good ,they target students

As we know that study curriculum is old in Indian colleges, it is required to update .This is the main reason because of which students don't get job after graduations. Exams are taken frequently at their time. It is required to update syllabus in India colleges

- One of the most beautiful campus with lush greenery around.
- Hostel facilities are descent, hostels are changed every year.
Dislikes
- Barring one or two companies like L&T, Technip, etc. core placements are not enough in civil branch.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is well designed in order to give every student taste of engineering. The course curriculum is very useful. Industry exposure for chemical engineers is provided. Students have classes from 9-6 and this way they don't get much time for developing their extra skills which are must in the industry.

- Not much as i enjoyed most of my time there yet i can answer one or two things that could be improved there like their Placement policies and the restriction of in-timings for the institue

National Institute of Technology Hamirpur has a good and comprehensive curriculum . It has plenty of choices and someone can easily cope-up with the curriculum and have time for the courses and activity they like .

- Facilities are good there is a free e vehicle too which can help in travelling within the campus
Dislikes
- Remote location makes it quite difficult to travel
- Animals are wild over here like monkeys are dangerous and can provide severe damage and also leopard are seen near due to remote location
Course Curriculum Overview:
*Solid foundation : the curriculum provides a stong foundation in the core principle of chemical engineering teachers are well experienced and dedicated towards students *Laboratory experiments: the lab provide valuable hands on experience with a great laboratories and infrastructure Area of improvement : Assistant helps in the laboratories in explaning the working are quite less experienced and need more knowledge about the labs experiments. Exams and assesment : it involes mid semester and end semester exams in between there can be conductions of viva or assignment or quize or presentation etc

- the fest and events occurring throughout the year
Dislikes
- the attendance policy of 75 percentage as their is less time for personal growth
- their is old faculty so their way of teaching is not relevant for young generation
Course Curriculum Overview:
having experienced teacher and good placement and mentor are one of reson why i choose this course but there is 75 percent attandance criteria which was quite average things i think there is need of policy renewation and new teachers as some faculty are not able to explain the topic and handling the class exams are semester wise two semester in year along with 1 mid sem in each semester and results is cg based if you get 6.5 above cg then it is good
