Course Curriculum Overview
From second year all of the students study about the core of their respective branches and the course curriculum is absolutely fine as per the field requirement .their are some subjects in first year which might be irrelevant like engineering drawing environment etc but overall it's very good
Internships Opportunities
Internship are provided from first year itself and it is mandatory to do intern in 3 Rd year nit provide intern within the campus and have tips with others iits like iit roorkee and iiit Hyderabad and everybranch got provided with same amount of internships
Placement Experience
Placement of nit hamirpur is good computer science as always opted the highest package with the highest average package although every branch have good placement opportunies including civil electrical
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is good in first year the fee is high but as you are presiding towards final year your feet starts decreasing although nit provide many scholarship to the students which are of lower case like sc or st OBC and physical handicap students which is very helpful to the students
Campus Life
Overall experience with the campus life is awesome it is situated in the beautiful valley of shivalik hills it's crazy in monsoon sometimes their are crazy railfall and the mountains around it full of snow and very emjoyful campus life
Admission
Admission is on the basis of joint entrance examination if you are from home state then u reuirqd 97 percentile to get computer science branch and for other state you require 99 percentile admission is done on same date you are provided a date on which you have to come and submit all your details and verify them
Faculty
All the faculty members are highly trained although their are some guest faculty which used to teach first year students only from second year all the teacher are highly qualified all are doctorate in their fields although some faculty might be not that cooperative like first year faculty their are not that much chill with the students but from second year all of this got sorted
