- the only thing to worried is the intiming that we have to enter the hostel at 6:00 pm asap
- some seniors are not very good you have to treat them with full respect like a servant only then they talk to you nicely
Course Curriculum Overview
the course curriculum is not nice according to me it is very old we have to study every branch subjects in the first two semesters which is not a good thing according to me the curriculum should be revised so that the students can acquire more knowledge about their own subject rather than others
Internships Opportunities
many compannies like wellsfargo ,salesforce ,standard ,chartered ,oracle etc had came here they have given the studnets the internship of 30 thousand to 1 lakhs rupees which is very impressing thing the pre final year students
Placement Experience
the campus placements of nit hamirpur is above average it offers 100% placement which is a nice record for the chemical engineering department and the placements of other branches is also good it is about 9.00 lakhs
Fees and Financial Aid
i have paid 1,51000 including hostel fees for the first semester and those who are sc st have to pay only half of that money as per the answers i have got from my batchmates as such now no scholarship have been given to us only those can avail scholarship which are sc st and obc ncl students
Campus Life
my overall experience here is quite decent the campus life here is very soothing for a nature lover he or she may definetely find reilief while sitting in the ground or in their balcony the library here contains a vast collection pof books may be about 90000 books
Hostel Facilities
the hostel facility is nice but the only thing i didnot like is this that the ground floors are not nice they have old almirahs and even rats and other small insects can easily get inside the hostel room in n ground floor mess food is above average
Admission
i chose this college because of the beautiful; campus and the placements here is above average and moreover it is situated about 100 km from my home and according to my rank in jee main2024 the best branch and college i would get is nit hamirpur
Faculty
the faculties have full knowledge of the subjects but they dont know how to deliever it to the students . sometime teachers are not able to clear the students doubts up to mark and some of the teachers are lab asistants they deliver a very large lecture for a simple topic
