IIT Mandi Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The college boasts a 100% placement rate. The college placement committee is extremely dedicated, and they are aware of the students' enthusiasm for the placement push. As a result, the assists and leads us much during the college placement stages. During the college's placement drive, over 70+ companies visited the campus. Our batch's highest placement package was over 35 LPA, with an average package of roughly 15 LPA. Google, Microsoft, Samsung Bangalore, Adobe, Walmart, Paytm, Amazon, Samsung Bangalore, and other companies came to campus for a placement drive.

I received the seat of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering there as my percentile was 98 in the JEE Mains entrance exam with a rank of 1600. This rank made me get the seat of the CSE branch in the second round of the JOSAA Getting a good rank in the JEE Mains exam, I qualified for the seat in the very first round of the JoSSA counselling.

The recruiters who participated in the final campus recruitment were Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS Research, Capgemini, Infosys, Internet Academy, Accenture, ISRO, HPCL, etc. The highest salary package offered was Rs.30 LPA and the average salary of Rs.12 LPA was offered in our final placement program. The total offers we got I can remember was around 60. I didn't participate in the final placement as at that time I was preparing for the civil service exams.

The opportunity to sit for placements was in ample amount. Many businesses, including Amazon, Facebook, Walmart, etc. were there. The majority of CSE profiles are for project management. In an Amsterdam business, the highest package is roughly .80 crore. The number varies depending on the talents of the pupils; sometimes it is 80 percent.

The placement offer of IIT Mandi is very good. The college opens the door of lots of professional opportunities that one can avail. The college management properly works and coordinates with the college replacement committee for the betterment of the college placement standards as the highest salary offer of the college is around 34 LPA and the average salary offer is approx 14 LPA. Amazon, Microsoft, Codenation, DE Shaw, Adobe, Sales Force etc. are the major recuireters of the college.

In 7th semester you are eligible for campus placements. You can submit your resume in placement cell for primary verification. Then you can apply for job. Many companies visit in campus including Microsoft Amazon etc. Highest package is about 1 crore by a foreign company. Average package lies between 20 to 30 lacks per year. Almost 95 percentage students are placed every year through campus placements.

Professional opportunities have been great at IIT Mandi. A total of 146 students sat for the placements in the year 2021 and 133 offers were made to the students. Highest CTC offered was around Rs.38 LPA. Companies that visited the campus for the placements were Amazon, Microsoft, Codenation, DE Shaw, Adobe, Sales Force, Google, Microsoft, Samsung Bangalore, Walmart and Paytm.

IIT Mandi recorded high placement records in my year of study. The recruiting companies included the Isha, Oyo rooms, TCS research, internet academy, Khosla Labs, adverb, future first, Finisar, Larsen and toubro, Infosys cognizant, palc networks, Samsung Noida Wipro, time tooth, Kisan hub, Amazon, Capgemini Goldman Sachs, Siemens, etc. Other recruiters were codenation, delivery, play simple, etc. 30 students for hired for profiles like analyst, applications engineer, member of technical staff, associate applications developer, assistant technical scientist, graduate engineer trainee software developer engineer, business analyst, software engineer, young technical engineer, etc. The highest package was 85 lakh while the average package was 16 lakh per annum

The placement procedure is a three-step process starting with the registration. Many companies visited the campus last year for placements. Some of them included: Google, Microsoft, Samsung Bangalore, Adobe, Walmart, Paytm, Amazon, Indeed, Cashfree, Flipkart, Mindtickle, and Texas Instruments. 81% of the students got placed in my batch. More than 100 offers were made to the students.

In a very short period of time, the college has made a very good name for its placement standards. The college not only provides 100% placement but the package offers are also very good. The placement committee of the college plays a very important part in the college placement drive as they are successful in inviting a good number of companies and they help us in every round so that we are placed and receive good offers. The highest package was around 25 LPA and the average package was 12 LPA.
